Webster Jewelry and Coin Exchange — Attraction in Town of Webster

I spent a great deal of time looking for a knowledgeable and reputable dealer in the area to have six gold chains appraised. I was sure they were all gold plated and was going to donate them to one of the local charities that I support, but after reading all of the very positive reviews for this business, I decided to check them out. I stopped at the Penfield location and received a warm and friendly welcome from Frank. He tested each of the chains and told me that two were 14k and one was 18k gold and offered me a very generous amount for them. A few weeks later, I decided to sell some vintage 14k and 18k gold jewelry and took them to the Webster location where I met Frank's brother, Greg. Like Frank, he greeted me with a smile and a sincere, "what can I do to earn your business" attitude that immediately put me at ease. He was genuinely excited by the pieces I brought in and we talked for some time about the right and wrong way to buy and sell items made of precious metal and our mutual admiration for vintage, well-made pieces of jewelry. He purchased all of the items I brought in at a very fair price and, once again, I walked out feeling like I had just made a new friend. If I could give Frank and Greg ten stars on this review, I would do so...

When looking for a reputable business to sell some silver coins and some gold jewelry; I was offered offensively low amounts in Onondaga,Oswego and Jefferson counties at multiple establishments. Upon researching reviews, I opted to make the 2 & 1/4 hour drive to Webster. I was not only offered what I would have accepted , but the Actual value. I did not loose a single cent, I felt more respected as a client in 20 minutes in Webster Jewelry and coin than 20 years of interactions with insurance agents accountants, utility companies and grocery stores combined. Very interesting shop, I plan to make the trek again and look around next time at all the vintage goodies! The Gentlemen are knowledgeable, worldly, well spoken, professional,fair and kind. I had to settle my mom's estate last year. I had a bunch of what I thought was my mom's cheap costume jewelry...just a bunch of junk. I had them in a box for good will. I brought them into today and had a guy named Frank take a look at them. Joked around with him that was my dad's name and he thought it was just junk when he was still alive. Never hurts to check it out. He actually found some silver and gold in some of the pins and necklaces. Nothing to big but he said he could scrap it out. Got a great price on something I didn't think had any value. Goes to show you...let an expert looks at it. Very fair and honest. Got way more than the couple of bucks I thought I could get.
