Please read my addendum to my initial review that follows. So very disappointed. I have done many paintings at different l locations and this one was the worst. My painting was $42. I have have done much better with less expensive ones. I thought we would have been given ample time to complete the more complex painting or why would it have been so expensive?! Instead we were rushed and they were cleaning up from under us by 8:45! The instructor could not have been less interested in her project. At one point I think she overheard a friend complain that she couldn’t see because she constantly blocked the picture. Instead of trying to help, she ignored our table completely! And we did ask for help with a rude response or were completely ignored. No friendly banter, no offer for photos and generally just a very uncomfortable experience. My painting ( and even hers) look nothing like the portrayed picture. This is not my first experience and I usually do quite well. Please tell me what the extra cost was for because it was certainly not reflected in the instruction. It was overall a very bad experience and I have come to expect more from your franchise. Now I will be going to purchase paint on my own in an effort to duplicate what I could see online. I will never go back again. I may try a different location but I am afraid she may work at more than one and I do not want to run into her again. Sorry for the bad review but I think you should know. I couldn’t wait to leave. That is how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Her assistant was kind and friendly but all I can tell you is that if looks could kill, then I am writing this from my afterlife!! I am adding on to previoius review to reflect that I was contacted by a manager of this business and discussed my issues with her. I think that any business that takes the time to contact you personally about a problem deserves another chance. I found her to be willing to listen and discuss our class with an open mind and hear me out. I have never had a problem with any Painting with a twist franchise and am impressed that they care enough to address the issues. She has offered some solutions to my concerns and I can see that they stand behind their "product." I would definitely give them another chance, and am satisfied with their quick...
Read moreEvery time I go to P.W.A.T. in West Seneca, I am always delighted by how friendly they are and how much fun I have! I did a pop in & paint and diy candle recently, and Christy made it another great experience. She played my favorite music and let me do my thing while I watched the great step by step instructional video the studio provides. I left feeling really happy, but when I got home I realized my painting didn't look at all how I wanted it to (don't know where my head was because the colors were so off, but I had fun, which was the point) Luckily, the instructional video gets sent to your email so you can rewatch as needed. A few days later, I sat down and made some changes, and I'm very happy with my painting now. I'm looking forward to my next visit, and hopefully I'll pay more attention to what I'm doing next time, but I know they will make sure I leave...
Read moreTo say this was a blast is an understatement! My boyfriend and I joined an open class for a Valentine's day gift for each other and it was so fun! All of the staff were super friendly and always willing to help! Our paint teacher, Eliza, was very fun, great choice of music, gave super great painting tips, and always made sure we were on track! I cannot do anything artsy besides coloring in the lines in a coloring book (and sometimes I can't even do that!) But this was super fun and honestly, what's better than drinking and painting?!? Also, the painting came out beautiful because they guide you through it every step of the way! I can't wait to do another one!...
