Burns Barber Shop — Local services in Town of West Seneca

I chose Burns with in the hopes of having different professional barbers in one place, seeing many clients from one another over time, come in and out with different styles, would yield the best results of opinion. I was a first time walk-in. It wasn't all that busy. When doing a quick look around, it seemed like a comfortable place, barbers in a chill/good mood, and got a chair right away. My hair had grown long over the winter, and having no longer a clue as what to do with it, was ready for something fresh. You could see, as he looked it over before I sat in the chair, this guy had the perfect style for me and had an answer. It looked effortless. Each cut/buzz/comb/shave as to where he was going with it was explained. All while asking questions along the way like how it usually to falls, products I use, etc., etc. The other barbers at work; you could see they knew what they were doing. I'd recommend anyone here; the guys putting in their two cents and banter, and even the one running up and down the shop avoiding projectiles. 😅 But everything is in order and clean, from the tools, to the floors. Thursday was my second time with these guys and I cannot say enough, about how EXCELLENT the quality and service is here. Dylan was the reason I came back. I worked with him the first time and he was incredibly friendly and did an awesome job. There's plenty of places that when you return, and work with someone else, it's not as good. This was not one of those times. Matt was absolutely incredible. He asked me questions, told me what he thought would look great and educated me along the way. almost every place I've ever gone, it's about getting the chair open as fast as possible for the next person. Matt was extremely patient and thorough as he took his time and did an unbelievable job. I've never had a haircut or experience like this, literally ever. The attention to detail was out of this world. If this is what I can expect from Matt everytime, he has got a customer for life. Thank you...

Slow service is an understatement. Called ahead and was told maybe 30 min wait. 3 or 4 people ahead of me on the sign in sheet when I arrived. Four barbers on duty. No big deal. Over an hour and a half later I got seated. And the place wasnt even busy. The guy in charge was just jabbering on and hanging out while everyone stared at the back of his head and wished he would hurry the hell up. Ive seen one real barber crank out three times that many people in half the time. And the haircut looks like some West Seneca dork was learning how to use a pair of scissors for the first time. Waste of an afternoon. Nothing special here. Some barbershops are fun to wait in and hang out. This place feels like a middle school...
