River Park — Attraction in Town of Wilson

Absolutely love this little Pond/Park. It also is a very nice relaxing place to go fishing by yourself or with your children while teaching them how to fish. With multiple types of fish and turtles. It has a nice waterfall in middle of pond. It is also known for their free fishing day for kids every first Saturday in June and they clean, fillet, and batter cook the fish that you catch that day. Also nice drawings for kids to win fishing accessories (this year my 4 year old nephew won a teenage mutant ninja turtles fishing pole with casting fish, he loves it). Plus they also hold Ducktona there as well, with a nice car festival/show. Plus many other events. Cute little park that has a jungle gym for kids, swings for both big and small, 2 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, a baseball diamond, and trails that go throughout the entire park with a cute little white bridge. Sheboygan falls is cute in general so doing some walks throughout the town and a picnic in the park is just perfect. River Park is a great place to bring the kids as they offer a lot of open space and a large play area for the kids. There are plenty of fishing opportunities along a paved path throughout the park. A unique suspension bridge spans the river and offers a fun experience for those that are not afraid of a little movement on a bridge. The tennis courts are well kept and fenced.
