River Park Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Sheboygan Falls

We use to go here very often but have slowly stopped going for this reason below. My girlfriend and I stopped for breakfast. We have been typically sharing meals since most places serve so much. Now I mind you, we have shared meals at this restaurant before this is important. We had a Denver Skillet and we were just going to share from the bowl. The waitress brought us our food and gave us an extra plate which was kind but we didn't ask for one. She also wasn't the most friendliest, didn't ask if we needed anything else after dropping off the food. Seemed like she was miserable being there. We finish our food and get the bill. To our surprise we see an extra charge of a $1.00 for a plate??? When we went up to the counter, we questioned this charge. The man told us it is a charge for the extra plate, that we didn't even ask for in the beginning and it is for the dishwasher since they have to wash an extra plate. We have shared meals here before and got an extra plate and never got charged extra. That's a bit ridiculous!! How can you charge something like that even though we didn't ask for it in the first place. Highly considering not visiting this restaurant again but on the plus side the food...

One of my FAVORITES! CLEAN, SAFE SPACED SEATING, REFRESHINGLY CLEAN, EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE WAITRESSES AND. WAITERS. This place makes you feel like you just walked into your Mom or sister's kitchen. The food is always served hot, with the aroma beyond freshness! I have to have hot coffee on a rather quick basis. Coffee is plentiful and always hot! The menus give you so many varieties. Do not be surprised, if you want to visit often, just to try a little something new, with every visit, for several months. Located in Sheboygsn Falls, WI. With plenty of parking. But there may be a time you are not exactly close to the door. You see, the warm hearted atmosphere draws returns of anyone experiencing this restaurant. Don't wait...if you have a chance to stop in at River Park Family Restaurant, you need to stop in for a meal. This is one delightful place, that lives up...

Owner is rude. Recently we had breakfast there and my wife ordered a Belgian waffle it came out pale looking and had no crunch to it at all. It was cooked through just not crisp at all. My wife didn't like it and told the waitress she could take it back. The waitress offered something else and my wife said no thanks and just had her coffee. Then the owner came out and hatefully said the waffle was made in a professional waffle maker and that he thinks we are just trying to get free food. He was very hateful and walked away without allowing us to respond. We got up paid our bill and gave them an extra $10.00 to cover the waffle they took off our bill. Never at anytime did we ask for anything to be taken off our bill. The waffle was not eaten so how is it that we got free food? All I can say is I forgive him for his ignorance and poor...
