We have been cautious of travelling, with everything going on, but needed a change of scenery. The Rochester Inn was the perfect place! The contactless check-in was easy and the room (Room 3) was spotless and beautifully appointed. It was nice to have some space to stretch out and we spent some time walking through town and visiting some local shops and restaurants. Breakfast is the real 5 star treat here! Both mornings were amazing. I don't often eat much for breakfast but devoured everything they sent up. Again, due to COVID, they delivered breakfast right to your room on a tray. Everything was hot and fresh. The bed was comfortable and all of the amenities you would need were available. The little fridge in the room was perfect for some snacks we brought and bought while visiting. Thank you to the staff for making our little staycation the perfect getaway.

We snuck away for a quick night and enjoyed this little bit of history. The keys were left in a lock box for us so we didn't see anyone at all until our breakfast was delivered the next morning. We enjoyed a movie, a HOT soak in the jetted tub, and a delicious breakfast. The cookies waiting for us in the room were a nice treat. We would have used the Keurig for some hot cider, but I felt it could be a little cleaner so we skipped it. We aren't coffee drinkers, so we didn't really feel like that was a huge problem. The bed is comfortable, but high. I'm not quite 5'2" so I made several running leaps! The toilet was a little leaky and kept running periodically. A little maintenance and that will be solved. It was a nice night away from the kids and we enjoyed our stay!

After only a moment speaking with Inn owner, Kelly, you realize that as a guest you are sharing in her love story with a part of history, a time when things were more beautiful. Our standard guest room was extremely comfortable, clean, and the navy blue walls produced an immediate calming effect. The little touches (of which there were many), from the custom bath salts to chocolate-dipped strawberries with turndown service (both pictured below), careful selection of linens and wallpaper to thoughtful breakfast spreads—show the dedication to hospitality of two people who share the joy of new experiences and connecting with people on a personal level. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a single night while visiting the Kohler art museums. We were in a classic guest room on the first floor which was charmingly decorated and extremely clean. I had occasion to communicate with Kelly several times in conjunction with our stay and she was very responsive in answering questions and providing important information. The hot breakfast we received before departing was delicious - brunch eggs, fresh fruit, and warm croissants. Since we were on the first floor it was very easy to get our luggage into the room. I'm a light sleeper and had problems staying asleep as there was a busy county road where traffic goes over railroad tracks about six feet from our room and headlights would shine through the shades. That said, my husband had no trouble falling and staying asleep and awoke feeling very refreshed. The innkeepers take exceptional care of their inn and I would definitely recommend it as an alternative to The...
