First time visiting after living in the area for over a year now. It is a very nicely themed restaurant. It’s a very quaint with a fun theme. Who didn’t love firefighters at some point in childhood? They were efficient and the crust I got was cooked as its style should be. The toppings used were of quality reflecting the price of the food. However when I ordered the smoke alarm pizza for my wife and I, they didn't verify topping options with me as apparently there are choices. They put ham on a blt pizza, made it thin crust and they never asked or even mentioned topping or crust options. Choosing thin crust or hand tossed is a huge deal for people and making the wrong one WILL ruin anyone’s dinner. In my restaurant days we always called back if the crust wasn’t verified. Maybe thin crust is a local thing, but for the large majority of places in the nation, hand tossed is default. Why would you not ask this? Or anything at that. Read moreWhere do I begin? Visited Firehouse Pizza on Mon. 8/2 for lunch with four other family members. I don't know if short-staffing is the reason, but the waitress we had, Amy, should not be in the service industry. My 85 year old mother ordered coffee with cream. Amy brought the coffee, but no cream. So, my sister in law asked Amy for cream but Amy didn't respond so we assumed she didn't hear her. I then went to the back counter to get cream from Amy who looked at me and said --- I will bring the creamer when I come back! Whoa...I looked at her and didn't say a word, I was so taken aback. Why would she speak to a customer like that? Unreal. Then, she brought out our food and that was pretty much the end of Amy. She never came back to see how everything was! Never refilled our waters or coffee. ( I actually drank my Mother's water since she never came back). Finally, she brought the bill, and we left. Anyway...I understand right now that businesses are struggling to find workers, but Amy may not be the best choice if you want customers to consider returning to your business. We...

However, server was sub-par. We placed our order. We kept calling the server to get refills and he did not Come. After like 30+ minutes the hostess came by and she had to get our refills for us. Mind you he kept stopping by the tables around ours but not ours. He wouldn't even look at us. After the hostess took our drinks he comes and asked if we need refills....30+ minutes later!! All the tables around us ate, left and new people came in and our food was nowhere to be seen. After an hour we asked how much more time it would be and he said it should be a few minutes. We finally got our food and saw that the new people around us got their food about 10-15 minutes after we did, yet they arrived 20-25 minutes prior to that. I think he just forgot to submit our order and our table in general. Did not tip due to this bad service.
