The Shops at Kenilworth — Attraction in Towson

This place has definitely changed since my last visit years ago. Inside is still undergoing a facelift so there are still some empty stores on the second level. I was heading to About Faces Day Spa because my usual location was without power, but they still managed to accommodate me. Wandered through stores on my way out. A bit pricey and not geared towards 'BBW' like me (Big Beautiful Women, a nice way of not saying skinny b**ches!), but there are still options for us...if you don't mind paying $175 for a 'neoprene' handbag...hey, it was from Italy, so of course it's going to be expensive!

Wine store and Trader Joe's (packed on Sunday afternoon!) rounds out the top floor. Seemed to be more relaxed and casual on the ground floor, and I doubt a handbag down there rang up at $175...for...

I usually only come here to get my hair cut at About Faces by an extremely talented young man who's name is Art. on my way in this previous Saturday to get some trim, I saw yoga/meditation store that had very nice things. 3 things impressed me greatly within the time I spent there was 1. Juice Bar with greathy healthy smoothie selections and juices that Ive been previously introduced to before but never appreciated their advantages till now. Angel was the most pleasant women who was so knowleadgeable about oils and how the olfactory system can be highly impacted by smells alone...i havent slept a full night for as long as I can remember until that one. Thank you Angel. Or was it...

I don't tend to review shopping centers but I think it's worth giving this one it's Stars because they made a very wise decision last year to bring in the Trader Joes. The previous location of Trader Joe's in Baltimore was practically impossible to get too and even more difficult to find parking, but this new location is larger, has a better selection, and is much more accessible. It doesn't stop the parking lot from being overly full but there are at least more spaces to handle the larger crowd now that the location is better. There are a few other shops in the shopping center, if you can call it a shopping center, but let's be honest. You're coming here for...
