Bryant Park Beach — Attraction in Traverse City

Good spot for sunset.. but it's public and with it comes all of the rift raft. Honestly, they weren't even tourists. One lady allowed her wet dog to run all muddy across my blanket I had down... Absolutely disgusting. She continued to fetch a stick to the dog into the water... I guess this is why most beaches do not allow dogs. There were lots of teenage hoodlums... Throwing rocks, splashing, talking about inappropriate conversations. The town is so quaint and charming... And then these losers really messed up the vibe. Put your dogs and kids on a leash if they don't know...

Quaint little park in Traverse City. A must stop in the summer for a cooling off. The water is cold and the waves are usually mild. The rest rooms are clean. There is no life guard here so swim at your own risk. It is partially handicap accessible as they have a wood plank and a bench that goes out onto the beach but is a bit distant from the water. Yet still better than what most little beach areas have around here. Normally it is not very crowded when...

Perfect little beach! Clean, not crowded, and the playground nearby is cute! Perfect for families! Was a little worried about finding parking since the lot is so small but the church nearby allows parking--WAY better than Clinch beach bc of this factor! Bring some cash to leave a donation to the church...
