We live 3 hours away but while we were in town we decided to go to the omelette shoppe for breakfast. Wow we were impressed! The French press coffee was such a surprise and it was SO delicious... and free refills! Our server was Rochelle and I was so impressed at how friendly she was and she even took the time to suggest things I wouldn't expect a server in a hurry to suggest. Most servers don't like suggesting stuff that will take them extra time to do but she didn't mind at all. She was also willing to give suggestions and answer questions without seeming like she was in a hurry even though I'm sure she was. I had the barbacoa beef breakfast burrito and it was SUPERB!! So flavorful and delicious! The biscuits are homemade right there and you can tell the sausage gravy is a well. Both were very good. They also fresh squeeze the orange juice every day and use 100% antibiotic free meat and use as much local produce as they can. Definitely a place we will return to again!

Very sad dad for us. We love the location near home in Grand Rapids. Regular customers at that. When we come up this way we make a habit of coming to this location. This time was different. The OJ was gross. Did not even taste like orange juice. This is how much we drank in my attempt to find out what it really was.. grapefruit?. My kids even said theirs was gross. The bacon tasted old and like maybe heated up in a microwave? The biscuits for the gravy were not even the same. When my toast came out clearly black burnt and should have never made it to my table, I asked for new. She came out with new toast and proceeded to reach her hand on my plate to take the burnt toast away. That was super weird and uncalled for. I was already eating some my eggs and hash browns. With her fingers an inch away from my burnt toast before even asking if it was ok.

My wife and I made a stop at The Omelette Shop for breakfast during our weekend getaway in Traverse City. The establishment was clean and well-maintained, with only booth seating available. They offered a wide variety of omelets, making it challenging to choose just one. The friendly staff promptly greeted and seated us, and our orders were taken shortly after. Both of us ordered omelets, and they were prepared and served remarkably quickly. The omelets were fluffy and cooked to perfection. The French press coffee complemented our meal nicely. Overall, it was one of the better breakfast places we've been to in a while, and we eagerly anticipate our next visit when we're in the area. Note, it fills quickly and there was a waiting line. We came early and avoided it.

I recently had the chance to visit the Omelette Shoppe on a Saturday morning. I must say, it was quite an enjoyable experience.

Even though the restaurant was packed the staff welcomed me and my group with smiles. Yes we did have to wait for 30 minutes to get a table. It was definitely worth every minute. Once we were seated we wasted no time in placing our orders.

The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the food itself. The omelettes were cooked perfectly. Filled with a variety of ingredients. Despite how busy they were the waitstaff managed to bring our breakfasts without any fuss. The flavors were absolutely delicious. The portions were more, than generous.

The only slight hiccup during our time there was waiting another 30 minutes for our meals. However considering how crowded it was and how people they had to serve it's understandable. It seemed like they could have used staff for such a weekend rush. Nevertheless it was clear that everyone was working hard and doing their best to cater to all customers.

I must mention that despite the wait time the quality of food and the friendly atmosphere inside made the overall experience truly delightful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a breakfast. To make the experience better the restaurant should think about having more staff working during times.

In summary the Omelette Shoppe offers breakfast choices. I'll definitely return, on a day when its not as crowded, to enjoy those...

Loved this place. I really wish I lived near this restaurant. The food was really good. I got the s’mores hot chocolate and the crab cake eggs Benedict. The hot chocolate had free refills but one was enough for me. It was so much chocolate and I especially loved the toasted marshmallows. As for the crab cake eggs Benedict, I kind of consider myself to be a connoisseur. I love eggs Benedict in general and getting a good one with crab cakes is hard to find. This one, I could smell the crab cake as soon as I cut into it. It smelled like fresh crab. The crab cake itself was soft enough to fall apart and really tasted like crab, which I liked. The spinach and tomato on it was also good. The hollandaise sauce didn’t seem that flavorful, but it didn’t take away from the meal either. It was right in the range of decent to “good enough”. However, they do put a lot on, so you may want to ask for it on the side. One of the people I was with got the cheesecake pancakes which he said were really good. For him, it was a choice between that and the pineapple upside down pancakes. I don’t think he was disappointed. The other person I was with didn’t tell me what he ordered but he said it was his favorite breakfast in a long time. The menu here is fantastic. There were about twenty things I wanted to try. I will definitely be hitting the place up again when I go back to...

Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT order take out from them unless you want to waste your time and get your order wrong (if they can find it) with no apologies. Who wants to bet they read this and finally apologize?

We have gone to the Cass street location numerous times and loved the food and service so we decided to try take out for lunch during this pandemic. I went to their website and the only locations available was Grand Rapids and the front street TC location so we picked that one, put our order in and got a confirmation email and text that the restaurant had received the order and was working on it. However, when I got there they didn't have the order and didn't even know about it. (Apparently they're using Doordash connected to their website.) Instead of talking to me about options or apologizing even, they said they'd be back out with it (no explanation about if that they were in fact making it then or if they did find the order) in 5 mins, 15 mins later it comes out (on top of 10 mins of figuring where it was) sooo 30 mins after our food was supposed to be done it's done. They bring it out, no apologies, nothing. Then we get it and drive to a nearby park and realize they forgot a key ingredient and so we had to drive back to get it. Again no apologies. No, trying to make this right. Save yourself time and frustration and don't get take...
