I have been a very loyal customer to Bubble Puppy for 10 years. I was so excited when they opened the Playhouse, and I am extremely disappointed. Apparently when they ask you to fill out health information, it’s just for show as they do not care or take any of it into account. Clearly listed in my attached photos I made it very clear of my dogs health history of swallowing things that ended up needing to be surgically removed. I emphasized with “HE WILL SWALLOW THINGS”, which still was not clear enough. They assure you when you become a client that there are no toys, this is a lie. My dog has thrown up 2 toys after leaving the play house. When I discussed this with them I was told “we have 30 dogs and it’s hard to watch them all.” To which I responded “then maybe you need to go down to 25 or 20 dogs if you can’t keep them all safe. I was told when I dropped him off there would be no toys.” And they said to me “well you can see from the videos we post that there will be toys in the pool, no one said there wouldn’t be toys in the pool”. And I reiterated “I made it very clear he swallows things and I asked several times if there would be toys and I was reassured there would not be. Yet he threw up two of your toys.” And I got the same response “no one said there wouldn’t be toys in the pool area. YOU should have told US he can’t go swimming”. Why would I tell them he can’t go swimming due to toys being present if I was reassured several times there would not be toys?? Not to mention, toys or not, shouldn’t you be responsible enough to assure dogs don’t ingest anything?? Isn’t that your job? To WATCH the dogs and keep them SAFE?? What am I paying you for if not to watch my dog with the trust that he is safe and in good hands? They clearly lack accountability, they are not professional, responsible, or safe. They showed no remorse, I was not given a refund, and they do not intend on implementing any change of action to prevent this from happening again to another dog. So please, if your dog has the habit of eating something they should not, do not take your dog here. They will not be in good hands and at that point you’re gambling with their health and safety. I have had good experiences bringing him to open swim myself and the grooming is great. But please be aware of the hazards and danger risks that comes with...

Reviewing the pool:

Short version: call to confirm your appointments MORE THAN ONCE but otherwise, a great time! Lovely amenities, clean facilities.

Long version: I called earlier in the week to book a half-hour swim for my dog. The kind woman on the phone verbally confirmed my booking details several times for me (I wanted to be CERTAIN since we would be driving two hours across the state for this).

When I arrived at the pool, it was locked. All of the signage at the main building said that pool bookings should go straight to the pool, so that's where we went and waited. The owner was cleaning the pool but didn't open the door to acknowledge us until ten minutes after our booking. She didn't listen to our explanation and instead told me to go to the main building. By that time, our booking was half over.

Eventually, we made it into the pool and found out that whoever I spoke to on the phone had put me down for the wrong date and time. I know this for sure because they said "X date, Y time, half-hour," but we were booked in the computer for "A date, B time, full hour." After driving two hours and fearing we were already over halfway through our time slot, I was pretty upset.

Luckily, nobody was booked after us, so my dog was able to swim. The owner and woman working the desk who rescued us were apologetic, but this was a pretty frustrating first impression.

Overall, the facilities were lovely. Clean with lots of toys and life jackets for the dogs, showers with dog shampoo to clean up after, and dog waste bags outside to potty before swimming. I was just so frustrated by being rudely brushed off and told off, incorrectly...

RUDE! They use to be a good place to have your dog groomed, but the staff and customer service went down hill. The women that work in the grooming area are rude and have nothing but bad attitudes. I was doing work around my home and lost track of time. I received a call from them 15 min. past my arrival time and I didn't have my phone on me so I had missed thier call. I checked my phone 5 min. after their call and proceeded to call back. No one answered. I rushed over to the shop and was 25 min. late. They told me I was "30" min. late and couldn't take my dog for being over "30" min. late, which I was in reality "25" min. late. After our discussion she asked me to wait a moment and then walked into the grooming area where she closed the door behind her. She then proceeded to talk to another groomer. After her conversation with the other groomer, behind closed doors, she told me that she would see if another groomer would take my dog. After waiting 5 min. she did find one, but she was going to charge me a late fee for being "30" min. late. I told her that was ridiculous and how does a groomer charge a late fee. This isn't a bank. I wished them a happy holiday and left the building to never return. To add again, all of the staff, especially the woman I was dealing with, all had attitudes towards me for being late. I guess they lead perfect lives and never...
