So happy with the customer service at Target in Trumbull Mall. Here it is mid-October and I had not purchased my traditional full size candy bars for Halloween, especially the Skittles/Starburst candy. I went to several stores including Walmart and was unable to find any. Suddenly it dawned on me to go online for candy, but the reviews about receiving melted candy deterred me from having my order shipped. I then saw an online Target candy Ad and went on Target's webpage and Voila! I was fortunate to find a nearby Target that had a limited amount of candy boxes available at a reasonable price. I immediately put a box of each of my favorite candy bars in the online cart for pick up the next day. Upon check out there was a 20% discount offer if I joined "Target Circle," of course I joined. Then my points from my credit card were also accepted on the Target check out page and I saved even more, aprx $20 off in total!!! Once checked out, I received an email confirmation of my order and shortly thereafter another email stating my order was ready to pick up the next day. What a convenient way to shop. Next day I ran down to the Target store, dreading the Friday Lunch rush, but no problem. I was about to go to the in-store Kiosk, when an Associate said he would gladly help me with my order. I provided the Bar Code from the email via my phone, and he promptly had my info, confirmed it was me picking up, and within seconds I had my order in hand. Now I can relax and not worry about not having my traditional full size candy bars for the Trick or Treaters on Halloween. Thank you Target for keeping up with modern technology making it convenient to shop online and hats off to the Associates who make things runs smoothly. Very Satisfied. Happy...
Read moreI went to target with my children (ages 7 and 9) to do an exchange on a toy that I had purchased about 2 hours prior but was defective. I brought the toy to guest services and the friendly associate told me to leave it there, go grab another one and to bring it back to her to process the exchange. So I went and grabbed a new one of the same model and one that was different just in case there was a bad batch and the new one of the same also turned out defective. Then we went back to guest services like she asked. She had begun helping someone else (which I completely understand) so a gentleman who was also working the counter took over. I explained the situation and asked if we could open the new one (the one that was the same) to make sure it was ok before leaving the store, and if it was also defective than we would take the different model. A security guard followed us to guest services then proceeded to looking over the transaction while asking the associate what I was doing and watched the whole transaction from start to finish. By watch I mean more like hover over the register and counter. I understand that security guards have a job they need to complete, but I followed the instructions exactly as they had been given to me and I noticed that he didn't look over anyone elses transactions, just mine. It was an uncomfortable situation overall, but what made it worse was that when we got back to my car my son (9 year old) asked why he was looking at us that way. I honestly feel like we were incorrectly profiled and I dont think we'll be shopping in this...
