Zona Tactical Store — Attraction in Tucson

I was in there for like 3 minutes before I walked out , never have I ever been more insulted in a gun store… me and my wife walked in and spotted the matching canik Miami days and nights 9mm that we have had our eyes on for a while and I’m like look honey the matching set and we were honestly thinking about getting them so I asked to look at one and I only had it I’m my hand for less then 30 seconds some guy in a hat and grey hoodie rushes up and says super rudely “we don’t let people handle those… I originally thought he was playing but he rudely follows up with if you drop it I will charge you for it right now… we don’t let anyone handle anything in this case! (Mind you I was holding it over the counter and the Matt) I handed the gun back and walked out… we’ll drop a few grand at one of the more friendlier gun stores like Catalina Pawn, I would even shop at turners over them at this point at least they have a higher bar when it comes to customer service and they will actually let your u handle a firearm without threatening to charge you for it. If you don’t want people handling certain guns maybe post a sign or be a bit nicer so your u don’t loose...

I went to Zona Tactical today ready to buy a new Glock 19. The guy behind the counter asked if I needed help and I told him what I was looking for (a tan Glock 19). He immediately tells me that what I am looking for "isn't made". Okay, I know a tan Glock 19 is possible but whatever maybe what he meant to say was "we don't have any of those right now", I ask to see the tan 19X on the wall, I like it but I ask to hold the 19 as well to feel the difference between the grips of the 19 and 19X. He tells me "they are the same gun, just the different grip", I again say yes I would like to feel the difference since one is bigger. He then, very annoyed now, hands me that the 19. Despite this guy, I decide I am going to change my mind, get the black 19 and a sight. I ask him what he recommends, gives me a quick "any of them really". Okay, never mind, obviously you have better things to do then help me buy a gun today. No one else is in the store by the way, how hard is it to give decent customer service, it was so bad he actually made me not want to buy something when the only reason I walked in...

I had a really unprofessional experience today. I had come in asking for a pistol magazine. Trusting what they had given me, I later realized it’s not the correct size for my gun. It ended up being a 18rnd while I had wanted a 15. This is not a huge issue it still fits but it extends past my magwell looking very bad and is not what I would want in my conceal carry firearm. I came in an hour later asking if I could exchange it. The guy at the counter automatically became defensive with me when I had asked. I found it really pathetic that the first thing he did was put the blame on the coworker who had originally helped me. I would have been fine with an apology and explanation that they cannot exchange it since it was opened. Instead the guy continuously kept saying what do you want me to do with this I cannot sell it. It was overall a really unprofessional interaction in which I will no longer be coming here. There are plenty of better gun stores in Tucson where I will be...
