Center Harbor Residents Only Beach — Attraction in Tuftonboro

The Center Harbor, NH Town Beach is a small, interesting area with docks, a boat launch and a small non-public beach that has a nice view of the M/S Mount Washington. During this pandemic season we’ve done take-out from several local area restaurants and parked here to eat out lunch or dinner. People fish off the docks during the summer season. The boat launch is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. There is a 3-hour time limit on docking and an attendant will collect a $15 fee from non-residents. When the temperatures soared to the mid-90s this was such a beautiful place to go to to cool off. Beautiful beach with all the amenities and right next door are the center Harbor public piers and boat launch. We could fish and swim within 15 ft of each other. Stuck up rich folks decided the lake and beach is only for land owners from town of center harbor ( signs posted everywhere saying parking without a town land owners permit will result in $75 fine also signs all over beach saying residents only) I say stop using thier boat landing, town docks, local businesses, and any other profit by tourist connections ... if we are not good enough to use the beach live off your property taxes without any...
