Red Hill Dari — Restaurant in Moultonborough

I really wanted to give this a 5 star. The staff was very nice, helpful and efficient. The food and ice cream was all good except for 1 issue. And this issue my wife and I questioned if it came from our dog or was there before we opened the Togo container. So I ended up pulling 8 or so hairs out of my mouth while eating the seafood platter. We have a dog with long hair so we are use to hair every once in a while. It started happening when I was about 1/3 of the way through. Then it was like every bite or so. I thought it was the same hair but I kept taking it out and wiping it away. Then when I was nearly done with the seafood portion of the meal the last 3 bites I had hair again and pulled on it and it pulled on the clams that was in my mouth and it was cooked into the batter. My wife said we should go back and return it but I was like Im almost done the whole meal what are they going to do pro-rate it and give me $5! Again I really wanted to give this a 5 star review but after that I think the stars I gave are generous. And we where certain it was a hair cooked into the seafood because when I ate the fries after the seafood that came with the meal there wasn't 1 single hair so it came very clear to us where the...

Honestly, I’m not sure what I was expecting when coming to this place but I did think it would’ve been better than it was. Food was about as good as a stand like this could be I guess. The woman taking the order for our food seemed extremely disinterested and behaved as if she hated her job and life. I asked her what was on one of her burgers labeled “the Texas burger” and she scoffed while rolling her eyes saying it was an LTO burger as if I should have already known. We placed our order for food and we never got our large fry which I know for a fact that we paid for. We are standing at the window for 5 minutes when she finally asks and then she told us we never ordered it, which again… I know we did. So we ordered ANOTHER fry and had to pay for yet again. I ordered the seafood platter. Half of the platter was popcorn shrimp. Then a small tail end of Haddock, It couldn’t have weighed more then 3 ounces and was completely over cooked and dry. The Clams and Scallops were good. A seafood platter should have even amounts of all the seafood. I might as well of got a shrimp boat. Also they got rid of the portable Toilet. They tell you to go across the street and use the town beach portable toilets, which clearly state are for Center Harbor residents only. 🤔 With the amount of money, you spend there, they should provide restrooms for their customers. I’ve never seen anything like it. Oh.. better bring cash as well, they do not take credit cards!!...
