Lakes Region Computer — Local services in Center Harbor

I called Lakes Region Computer (LRC) after struggling with molasses slow and often nonexistent wi-fi for three years (this while trying to run business in home that was totally dependent on wireless, right down to the constantly-dropped and failed conference Skypes). Dan returned my call within 48 hours, asked me a few questions and knew immediately what to bring with him on the service call. Two days later he arrived with everything he needed, and less than three hours after that, we had a complete and flawlessly functioning wireless mesh system delivering the fastest internet speeds we'd ever seen, in every room of the house including the basement, AND all the way out to the garage and the back yard. Dan stayed until he checked that everything was working and installed on every device the way it should be, completed numerous speed tests, explained what he was doing every step of the way, and provided all this in a single service call and at a price that was fair and honest. This marks the third time I've turned to LRC: I officially will not go anywhere else. Amazing, courteous, reliable, professional, prompt... the way business should be done. My day yesterday started out, when I showed up for my scheduled appointment at Lake Region Computer (with Mike Brulotte), and was told Mike was out with Covid. It seems the week before they had 2 techs out with Covid and this week now 2 out with Covid. Because they were short handed they asked if I could bring my laptop back another day (so they could transfer the info onto to a new Laptop I was getting from them), and I told them that I was desperate since I have customers I work with daily. They asked me to hold on and Tom Sawyer, the CEO, said he'd make sure somehow it got done! Sure enough he and Dan Weene worked on it and I got a call at at end of the day, that I could go pick it up! So thankful I picked it up and went to see what was new on the laptop early this morning. Then Holly-cow what I found was some different!! Then I got a phone call from Mike (he's back from having Covid)!! He was sooooo helpful in helping me navigate the new setup (glad he's feeling some better). I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend using Lakes Region Computer for all or any of your Computer issues you won't be disappointed! They are all fantastic!! ...

I've been trading with LRC for the past 15 years, or so. Many decades ago, I began personal computing on a Mac. Years later I switched to a Windows-based PC, because I was told most serious business applications were built for the Windows OS. Eventually I trashed my Windows-based PC and returned to Apple. I haven't looked back and Lakes Region Computer has been with me every step of the way in equipment sales and service. I am a Mac user exclusively, including iPhone and iPad. In my view, Elena and others on the sales floor are the friendliest, most knowledgeable and helpful people one could hope to find - no better, perhaps, than the staff of Apple Stores, but every bit as good. And, and LRC is local. Plus, the LRC tech team has solved every problem I've ever encountered, which, by the way, haven't been many. I support local business whose owners and employees value my patronage and deliver the timely results I require. I am happy that Lakes Region Computer makes it easy for me to give it high marks on any consumer...
