I absolutely LOVE this theater! Anyone who is disappointed in this theater obviously didn't pay for their ticket. It costs somewhere around $50, (after purchasing tickets and your average consessions), for 2 people to go see a movie, at a regular movie theater. At Eton Square Cinema, you're buying tickets to a movie that is nearly new, you can afford to buy consessions for the family, and have an option to play arcade games, all for significantly less than what you would have spent at a larger chain theater. The theater is always clean, the bathrooms are always kept up, the condiments, straws/napkins/silverware, etc are always full, and the staff is generally friendly and accommodating. I love that there is a table in front of your seats, so you don't have to put your purse on the floor, (which always makes for a sticky/germy mess!), and when you put your legs up in front of you, you are not putting them on the back of someone else's chair. It also allows you to put your cell phone out where you can see it light up, if anybody calls or texts you...which enables a smoother, less distracting viewing experience, seeing as you don't need to light up your screen to see if you've missed a call from the babysitter, employer, parent, spouse. Another perk, which you rarely find anywhere else, is that they usually validate expired Groupons! (I routinely save around 50% of the already discounted admission by purchasing movie tickets through Groupon...I highly recommend you look into it!) My family and I are loyal patrons of this theater, and will be, as long as they continue to offer the above-mentioned stellar service,...
Read moreCame in for a simple date night with my boyfriend to see Moana 2 and had the worst experience. We asked for two tickets for the 7:30pm showing and the employee prompted us to sit in theater 2. We arrived about 10 minutes late so when we walked into the theater and the movie was already playing we didn’t think much of it, but after about 10 minutes the end credits rolled. As we were walking to the front desk we heard the showing we were supposed to be directed to playing in theater 1. We requested a refund as we were annoyed and didn’t want to wait the 30 minutes to view a movie in which was spoiled for us. The employee told us he couldn’t offer a refund because he needed a manager approval and it could take up to a few days. Terrible service.
Edit: Thank you for responding! The employee who sold me the tickets was very checked out and didn’t communicate that he sold the 8:30 tickets or to wait before heading into theater 2, however the employee who helped us and offered the vouchers was very understanding and kind. I would like to add that the employee did tell us that the best he could do was take a picture of the tickets and a manager could potentially get to it in a few days, which is why the refund was declined. We will be using the vouchers and giving another this place another shot because of...
Read moreNew management definitely doesn't mean upgrade. I used to love taking my kiddo here for a movie on a budget. There was hardly anyone here when we arrived and I still stood in line for several minutes before being helped because they don't have enough staff. They were out of hot dogs (because why wouldn't they be?) so we ordered pretzels and they were disgusting. Not salted or anything, barely microwaved in the package, hard as a rock... just gross. Inedible, actually. And they have Diet Dr. Pepper and Sugar-Free Coke but not Diet Coke? I don't know anyone who orders Sugar-Free Coke but it is also gross and I don't like Diet Dr. Pepper either. I have no trouble ordering Diet Coke at every other establishment that sells Coke products, so that was a choice. I don't see this theater being open much longer, unfortunately. I surely won't be back. Edit: ZERO accountability sounds about right. The people ahead of me ordered ALL the hot dogs. Then you didn't have enough. 🤡🤡🤡 I wish I could get a refund for the whole experience. I could've gone to AMC for about $10 more and gotten EDIBLE food and a Diet Coke. And no, I didn't eat that nasty pretzels and my daughter didn't even open...
