It is with a heavy heart I must write this review. This particular review will not pertain to the cuisine, which we all know to be amazing and beaten only by the prices. No, this review is not about the cleanliness of the facility which is more than satisfactory. This particular review is about the restroom. Yes, the ole restroom. You see, on my most recent visit to this location, nature chose to call. I make my way to the restroom, easily accessed. Well marked, and easy to find. I open the door and the motion sensor turns on the lights. You see, one of the many ways they save you money is by cutting down utilities. One of many ways they do this is to have lights that cut off when the restroom is empty. The light is automatic, preventing you from having to find and flip the light switch. A feature I rather liked... at first. What I haven't mention as of yet, was nature did not call for a number one, but rather a longer call. After a few minutes of seat time (probably five or six) the automatic lights decide I've left, and turns off. So there I am, performing my business in a now pitch black room with only the light from my phone to mildly illuminate my immediate area. I tried, but no matter how much I waved my arms and feet, the motion sensor just couldn't find me to recognize I need the lights back on. I figure the sensor to be near the door, and it is a rather large restroom, so it just can not identify the room to not be empty. The sensor needs to see motion near the door. Then the idea comes to me. Not my proudest moment, nor my best idea, but an idea nonetheless. So I do it. I slip my sandal off, and throw it across the room. Smack! Right to the door, where I assume the sensor must be watching. Failure. So, at this point, not only does my shoe not get seen by the light sensor, but now I'm sitting in a public restroom, with only one shoe, still in the dark. So at this point I must rest my naked foot on top of my clothed one, as I feel less than happy about the idea of resting my bare foot on the floor of a restroom. So ultimately I finish my business by the glow of a phone, and bunny hop toward the sink to wash my hands. About halfway to the sink, the sensor finds me and turns the light back on. I collect my sandal, wash my hands, and exit the restroom with a small bit of dignity still in tact. So, ultimately this review is to ask that the restroom light timer be set to a little higher motion sensitivity, or at least a few extra minutes before shutting off....
Read more*update! New awful experience) When I checked out with Nicole the "manager" it was a terrible experience! I asked her not to throw my stuff and she did anyway. The price was wrong on my sandwich meat because they had the wrong price up and she was rude when she had to correct the price. If this location wasn't close to where I lived and gas prices weren't what they are I'd absolutely go to another location. There seems to be only 2 friendly or respectful workers there. Charles and Karla, both ring up my items fast and don't throw my stuff. If they can do it why can't everyone else, especially a manager! Next incident I'm filling a formal complaint!! [9 MONHS AGO]I moved closer to this location (61st & Memorial) 4 months ago. I'm use to shopping at the Tulsa Hills location. Typically everyone is so helpful, kind, and respectful. Today I checked out with Taylor and he started throwing my stuff in my cart. I asked him to please stop throwing the items to which he replied, "I'm not throwing them.... I have to be fast." I told him this other cashier, as I pointed to another register, is always fast, kind and doesn't throw my stuff. The point is we are paying for the items, essentially paying for Taylor to work there, so if we as customers ask for our things to not be thrown in the cart, you should respect our wishes. By all means if someone doesn't care then do whatever. I write my list, organize my cart as I go, I organize them on the belt etc. so at least give me the courtesy of not throwing them in a pile. I'm not asking you to sort them like I did just be respectful. When I talked with the new manager of the store her only question was, "was anything broken?". I'd rather her say thank you for the feedback, and use that moment as a training opportunity. Anyhow, I'll keep going back, because it's the closest location and the rest of the employees are nice. If this continues I will reach out...
