Such a great park. I love the new renovations and equipment upgrades! It is really a great place for all ages.

The dog park area though is only for kids age 12 and up . . . Which really stinks when you have mature responsible children that adore their dogs and want to be able to play with them in their own park. But the dogs love it. . . Even if only for the three minutes of running around to find the perfect spot to poop and then crying the rest of the time because their favorite owner is on the other side of the fence.

There are some trails and open areas to enjoy as well but BEWARE of the disc-golf players. This is a very popular course in the area and almost every open or picturesque area/private picnic worthy spot is in the line of fire lol. Just keeps your eyes and ears open and dont let little ones wander around in the field area even if you are watching them closely. Those discs really hurt and not everyone is a seasoned player and yells out when they throw OR the disc goes in an unintentional direction.

Just stick to the park and pond and...

This park is amazing! We love it! Came across it randomly, almost by accident, and are SO glad we did. Hands down the coolest, most brilliant playground set up and equipment I've ever seen. A portion of the playground looks like an outdoor weight room at a gym, with every workout machine you can imagine. But scaled to fit children and adults, and, the coolest part...it's all wheelchair accessible!! There are little signs on each piece that informs you what you're going to put focus on and tells you how to correctly use each piece. There are 3 other sections of playground for every age group and a splash pad, as well. The park backs up to a neighborhood on one side and a wooded area on the other so there I some neat areas to explore. There are great covered picnic tables throughout the park, several Ramada covered areas with tables for larger events. And an adorable little dog park even. So glad we found this place and sincerely hope this information helps. Hunter Park is definitely...

Loved the accommodations...clean, easy access & plenty of seating/tables. I'm giving this a 5 star...my first 5 star evaluation. Best park I've been to in Tulsa.

Loved that there was separation at the dog park...small, medium & large dogs. There were probably 50 dogs there, so I'm sure the neighborhood likes it as well.

We had our company picnic here & hired a food truck to provide food & drink. The truck had a space cordoned off for them to park & our employees were not endangered by moving vehicles. Perfect set-up area.

The children's playground was quite busy as well but people felt safe with their children there & it was far enough away from lane traffic.

Great place for company parties & family reunions. The only negative I could give it would be that there are not enough trees. Needs more shade other than...

Great little park. It has dics golf, dog park, covered picnic seating, a duck pond. Playgrounds for both small & bigger kids. It also has a great workout place for adults & a splash pad for small kids. Clean bathrooms too. The best part, especially if you have kids, is you can pretty much stand in one spot & see everything except the disc golf areas & duck pond. So its pretty easy to keep an eye on your kids wherever they are playing from one spot. Definitely recommend & its usually less crowded than some other big parks. The covered picnic area is also rentable for parties & such. At the time of this posting (could change in the future) you can rent a full day for the entire covered area for only $25 if the day hasnt been rented out already. Definitely worth it.

One of our favorite playgrounds in Tulsa, fun equipment for little kids (toddlers/preschoolers) and somewhat bigger kids (ages 6-8). 1 baby swing and a few normal swings. Center pavilion with benches (no picnic tables) is very close to all play areas and the splash pad. Side pavilion with picnic tables is closest to the little kid play area. The big netted sphere spins and has 2 levels for kids to climb, very fun. Park also includes a lot of exercise equipment for adults (weights, elliptical, pull up bar, etc) and even 2 wheelchair accessible weights stations. Disc golf course. Huge nice dog park, fenced with double gates, several separately fenced areas, lots of shaded benches inside.
