Tustin Legacy Skatepark — Attraction in Tustin

Great new park. Old guy morning sessions and lights for night time. For a while it was the only skatepark open and was packed. I’ve seen nyjah, Monica Torres, the whole plan b team, the Powell peralta team and ribs man there. The scene is sick, but can be CROWDED in the evenings. Good amenities at the surrounding park. Nice big fields, tennis courts and other things are all present. There is also an ice cream truck that frequents the skatepark as well. Taps brewery is nearby for more substantial food. If you go please please please DO NOT SKATE on the veterans memorial. If it continues to get skated the city WILL CONSIDER RIPPING OUT THE SKATEPARK!! I was told this by the builder of the park. A very well laid out park. Nice bowl and even the street stuff is arranged with good flow around the park so you can keep moving if you don't want to stop. Plenty of quarters and banks all around the perimeter of the bowl. Their lights are finally on and even though the time listed is until 10:30p, they just went out at 9pm. All the kids sounded surprised and the occupancy graph shows traffic until 10p, so maybe hours changed. It's always disappointing to see parks discriminate against skateboarding, bikes etc because the soccer and baseball fields are still lit up brightly. #discrimiskation...

A relatively new park, this one ticks all the boxes. Plenty of space with an assortment of interesting features and a great flow.

The bowl acts as the centre point with various obstacles placed around it. I loved the little bank to curb.

Something here for everyone, one of the better parks I've skated recently.

Free off street parking here too.
