My visit occurred in February, so I was fortunate enough to capture a winter scene out here. It's very peaceful along the beach and boardwalk, with plenty of scenic beauty. Exercise extreme caution as ice builds up quickly and in a large amount around the light beacon and boardwalk. The original lighthouse tower was disassembled years ago, now the siren/beacon exists in it's place...but the original light can be observed at the Roger's Street Fishing Village...
Read moreGreat little spot away from the amusement park. The sands are soft and the beach access was nice. Light house is not far away and is a must if you’re there. Biggest downside to the area is the seashells. They are scattered all over the beach and walking area. Wearing sandals you’re going to get one of them stuck on your feet. Had a good there and would definitely come back sometime...
