Stafford Plumbing & Heating — Attraction in Union

We have been using Stafford Plumbing & Heating for 33 years, and have never been disappointed. As owners of two properties (our primary residence and a rental), there have been too may projects to list individually, but every one of the was completed to our satisfaction. We have had a few new furnaces and hot water heaters installed over the years, and have had periodic maintenance performed on our furnaces. Besides these big installations, we have used Jim and his crew for every imaginable plumbing issue.

Jim, Jim Jr. and Rob are all very knowledgeable, professional, personable, patient, and most of all, accommodating. Their response time for scheduling jobs is excellent. It's very rare to have to wait more than a couple of days for service; with many requests, they have come to do the job on the same day. What a pleasure to deal with this group, as all their jobs are handled in a very satisfactory and professional manner. They are completely reliable; they come when they say they will.

No job has ever been too small for Jim and his crew. Jim even took the time to come to our house on a Friday night once when we had no hot water and could not figure out to turn the hot water heater back on. He turned it back on very quickly, and we all had a good laugh at our incompetence (not Jim's), but we appreciated his patience and consideration to even come out for something so simple. You could not ask for better service. We have such a comfort level and sense of familiarity with Jim that we look at him as not just our plumber, but as a friend.

I would also like to commend Lauren, who manages the office. She is very pleasant, and responds to all requests in a timely manner. She does an excellent job at coordinating the jobs and determining a reasonable cost for the jobs. When unable to reach her, she returns our calls promptly and attempts to fit us in according to the urgency of the job.

I highly recommend Stafford Plumbing & Heating. They have an extremely and professional staff. They are so efficient at responding to emails/call and make you feel like family. I had a heating emergency and they accommodated me with an extremely last minute house visit even though they had a full schedule and an even quicker turn around on a very tricky custom order part needed. The staff kept in touch with me via email throughout the weekend keeping me up to date on the status of the custom order part making me feel how much they cared and were making every effort to expedite my heating need before the weather became cold.

The experience got even better when I met Jim in person. Jim is so caring and has so much expertise and experience. I knew I was in great hands. The work to be completed was explained to me very clearly and transparently on the first visit and on the second visit the work was completed timely and with great care.

Staffed Plumbing will be the only plumber I ever use and they truly feel like family. As a new home owner, it truly feels great to know I have a trusted plumber to call whenever I need.

I had an emergency my sewer backed up! Didn't know who to call so I reached out to Roto Router to come out. They wanted to charge me over 10K to fix the problem. Telling me they had to dig up 6 feet of dirt to get to the problem that is why it is so expensive. I was taken back by this. What was I to do but say the heck with it do what you need to do. After thinking long and hard I am like this is crazy 10 K I could build a whole new front yard. Well I was recommended to Stafford Plumbing. With in an hour they were here. Cleaned out the trap even put my toilet back for me. The cost was 10 times less. I learned a true lesson.
