I will never eat or order here again. The owner is so unprofessional and nasty. She does not know about customer service. There was a mistake done on her staff behalf and instead of trying to help us out she didn’t not care instead she just wanted for us to say it was our fault. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN ! Extremely disappointed with this Peruvian resturant. Want good Peruvian food try Hugo’s in Rahway or Stancia in linden - where the food is great and the customer service is great.

It’s unfortunate that even after her own staff offering to pay the owner out of her own pocket the owner doesn’t realize there was a mistake made. The owner even called me at night to ask me how I would handle this. Small business owner during covid I completely understand but I would have never have dealt with this situation the way she did especially after her self admitting we were regulars - she lost a whole family on Easter for not valuing her customers. Went to the restaurant to order to go, after placing and paying for my order, I told the man working I would be back in 5 minutes and he told me the food would take about 10-12 minutes. After coming back, the man proceeded to pace back and forth between the kitchen and the front while calling someone and ignoring my questions of “whats going on”. The worker finally told me after a minute that he had given my food to another customer and he was calling the person to come bring the food back. I requested a refund and he then kept trying to tell me he would get my food back. I did not trust that whoever took the food, did not touch it, therefore I requested a refund. I don’t even live 5 minutes from this place and I do love their food, but unfortunately I will never return due to the poor service. They only had 1 table occupied and they had their food already. I’m not sure anyone would like to eat at a business that cannot handle 1 table dining in and 2 orders to go, and it is very unsanitary to have pushed to get the food back after giving it to another customer. This is one of the better tasting Peruvian restaurants in the area. We usually order delivery but started to come in and eat. We love the 1/2 Pollo a la brasa with sides. Also like to order the Lomo Saltado which is my favorite and so good! It leaves you so full! They make their own Peruvian Green Sauce which you can purchase to take home. It's that good! Spread it all over everything. Their passion fruit juice is really delicious. The space is small but has sufficient seating. The staff is usually attentive but on a recent visit the girl working couldn't be bothered as we sat for quite some time before taking our order. Our drinks didn't come up until much after our food and when we wanted to order more drinks, she was too busy in the back laughing with the staff so we didn't even bother.
