Cafe Z — Restaurant in Union

This place is so good i don't even know where to begin. my first time coming to this place was for an event my nephew was promoting here with his band. first off the parking lot is huge and i loved the fact that parking was so abundant and i was able to park very close to the establishment and walk right in. i was with my aunt who is in her late 70s and she does not walk like she use to in her 20s so walking is kind of a painful challenge for her. The owner Patty met me at the door and was so sweet and caring and saw my aunt kind of struggling and offered her to use the elevator without us even asking, since the place is downstairs from the parking lot. once we entered the place we couldnt help but notice 3 completely different areas in her establishment as we walked our way for the back of the restaurant to the front of it. there was a lounge area with a couch, a pool table, and a flat screen TV with full surround sound in the room to the rear of the place. the next room was the second bar which is considered to be like the sports bar area with about 8 TVs with a bunch of different sporting events playing simultaneously. Finally we came to the main restaurant area with the stage in the front where the band was playing. CHICKEN WING HEAVEN FOREVER! This place is #1 on the planet (I've travelled all over) for chicken wings - back in '92 a hotel/bar in Hollywood, CA took 1st place in my opinion, in the "wing department" and have been the best wings I ever had for approx. 2 decades (owner originated from Buffalo, NY), but since I've had these wings here, CafeZ is #1 and Hollywood, CA is now #2. Whether you get the plain, garlic or buffalo, they are crispy, cooked to perfection and best tasting of anywhere. I am the wing expert! We ordered catering from Café Z for a holiday dinner, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. Since they were closed on Christmas Day, we picked up the trays the day before. The reheating instructions were precise, and the food tasted incredibly fresh when served.

The chicken parmigiana and francese were absolutely delightful—the sauces were perfectly balanced and expertly prepared. The sausage and peppers tray was also seasoned to perfection. We also enjoyed the penne vodka and cavatelli with broccoli, both featuring sauces that were nothing short of five stars.
