I gave 5 stars based on my literal experience. That is, I wasn't there for any reason related to youth or theatre. I had no idea this was a theatre group and saw no signeage telling me as I came in. I went to this facility to donate blood.
But in the short time I waited for my turn, I looked around the modern architecture that made me think of a summer arts camp: large beams, unique lighting, a very high barn-like ceiling with gables, and using conduit and plumbing as exterior design.
In a rear corner were large plywood structures. Some had steps and handrails, and others had window-like holes. To me it looked like part of a set design for "Romeo and Juliet."
I thought, this would be a great place for kids to have a performance. Shades of "Babes in Arms." (Has it been almost 100 years since that movie was made?)
The venue was clean and airy and inviting. I felt calm and peaceful here and thought that I would plan to return. Now that I know its a theatre group I'll have more opportunities to...
