I wanted to love this food. Truly. I’m BT so I’ve had real Chinese food before. This is really poor.
Pros: everything was fully cooked, not overcooked, not soaked in grease or dry. The soup appeared to have all the correct ingredients except meat. The dumplings were cooked well, not too large or small or dry. Egg rolls were exceptionally cooked. Sesame chicken is give a B+. Good flavor balance, very sweet like standard American orange/sesame chicken.
Cons: hot and sour soup was not salted and not sour. Just spicy. I literally added white vinegar and salt. The egg roll is filled with cabbage. No seasoning. Steamed dumplings are filled with ground chicken. That’s it. No veg. No seasoning. “Fried rice” is not fried rice in any way. It’s died yellow (maybe turmeric or saffron) and has the peas and carrots. A tiny bit of scrambled egg. Not actually fried. No soy sauce. No salt. No seasoning. Garlic green beans were cooked perfectly. No salt. No flavor. No seasonings. I see garlic. Can’t taste anything. Chicken and veggies have no salt. No seasoning. I don’t get how they got a brown sauce when there’s no salt or seasonings. Mongolian beef is more white onion than beef. Too much chilis. No salt. No seasonings. Beef and veggies is cooked beautifully. Ingredients were fresh not frozen. No salt. No seasonings.
I am so frustrated. I got $180 worth of food (lots of leftovers) and I have to pour salt and shoyu on all of it because there’s No Flavor Whatsoever. I’ve been told kosher Chinese is terrible. I didn’t really believe it. I really wanted to like it. My entire family stopped...

Ordered ‘Crispy’ Mala Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Also wontons, fried potstickers, and egg rolls. It came with fried rice. All around poor quality Chinese food. Truly.
Chicken was soggy, not crispy. It was soaked in a very spicy black pepper sauce with cooked jalapeño slices. Couldn’t eat much. The menu did not indicate the ingredients nor that it was a spicy dish. I ordered it for my 3 year old. He couldn’t eat it.
Mongolian beef was 30-40% beef and the 65% rest was large slices of white onion. Beef was tough. Green onions were shriveled and overcooked. It was 1.5 portions for $21.00.
The pot stickers and dumplings were basically the same thing in a different shape. Filling was straight ground chicken. No flavor. No seasoning. No ground onions, ginger, garlic, carrot, cabbage (these are all supposed to be in pot stickers to one degree or another) They were also either under fried or chewy. Filling was very hard, means it was just chicken, no salt, no oil.
The egg roll was 100% cabbage and onion. It’s supposed to have chicken.
Fried rice was yellow. Greasy, heavy, and had no seasoning. No salt. No soy sauce. No sesame oil.
The rice came in small go-boxes rather than standard size.
Bottom line: This is the only kosher Chinese restaurant in Cleveland and I think the owners know it. They know people will buy, regardless of quality. So they’re not trying hard. I am disappointed and wonder if they ever read the reviews or strive for...
Read moreThe food here always hits the spot. It's fresh, well priced, and most importantly, delicious! Try the sesame chicken - in my opinion, better than the East Coast eateries. A good idea is to try the lunch special, in which you get chicken, rice, a side dish, and a soda for under 20 bucks. This sale is usually only available until 2 o'clock. The parking here is right in front and almost always available. It's also conveniently located near a lot of other fine places to eat or shop. I personally have spoken to the owner, an unbelievable man. So if you're in cleveland and you're looking to get food for the family, I highly recommend this restaurant. P.S. The fried chicken wonton here are the best I've ever tasted.! You MUST try them. Also, the sweet and sour chicken is a great alternative to...
