The Plaza At Preston Center — Attraction in University Park

UPDATE: It has now been over THREE MONTHS and have not received a call or email from The Plaza or from Kris, the plaza manager. Absolutely shocked NO ONE has given us any kind of support. So disappointed. The only "support" they ever gave us was answering this review with a comment. That's it.

I went to have dinner at R+D at The Plaza and came back to see my car like this. It got broken into and my backpack and laptop were stolen. Called the plaza manager, Kris, and she was completely rude and disrespectiful with me. Did not even say it was unfortunate it had happened, did not ask if I was ok, did not seem to be worried AT ALL. I would expect this plaza to offer SOME KIND of support but unfortunately I did not get it. It took me about 10 minutes to even find the plaza security officers and even though they were very nice, it was obvious they had no idea what to do. They kindly gave us a broom for us to clean the inside of the car, but that was it.

I never felt supported by the plaza, ESPECIALLY by Kris. It’s a shame a plaza like this made us feel so unsafe and unsupported.

We called Kris again today, hoping the plaza can help us out in any way. I’ll gladly update this review if...

Absolutely loved my time at Kendra Scott last Saturday! They were able to set up a surprise birthday jewelry party for my mother's 60th birthday! It was super nice as they had a sign set up outside for her, so as she walked in she was welcomed. Inside there was a wine and a cheese board for her--which they let her take with her!! All of the staff were so happy to help us and they provided us with a relaxing and fun experience. They were happy to answer our questions and really make this experience special for my mom. My mom's smile never left her face as she was able to walk around and take her time deciding what she wanted. And the awesome thing was if she did not decide on something that day she had until the end of the month to come back--so no pressure!

Kendra Scott's jewelry selection is overwhelming beautiful, but I love that you can customize it with various colors and really make it your own. Also, during your birthday month you get 50% off and any of your guests get 15% off!

Easy access from all sides of the plaza. Parking isn't the greatest to get into our out of. My favorite store is in this plaza, so don't know of any other retailers in this particular strip. I think there are a couple of restaurants and other retailers, but the best one of all is Sprinkles Cupcakes!! They make the most delicious confections here and the original creator was featured on Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, so it's a pretty famous bakery across America so you can't go wrong. Their cupcakes are so amazingly delicious that I about shed a tear when my last bite comes around.....I hate that part tremendously! A must go to location if you're ever in this part of Dallas. Just make sure you go the right way down the isles unless you like getting the finger and honked at. Otherwise a good location with a large variety of retailers and...
