My first time going in here yesterday. They have some items that I would purchase. I can say as far as the items go, they are worth taking a look at and buying. The issue I somewhat had is the professionalism. I came in the store with a couple of items I was looking to get rid of. The first woman I spoke with (had braids) was on the defensive with me at first and then mellowed out and was cool. Another woman I spoke with later was cool and assessed another item I brought in. The manager (it appears) then came and assessed an item I had brought and just came off rude and cold to me. I overlooked it, but I left feeling some type of way.
With this said, if you're a customer looking to pawn something and you're new to pawning (like I am), from my experience, come in here, make sure you have your receipts & price range ready. If they're not offering what you believe your item is worth, try someone else. For the staff (mainly the manager), I understand the nature of the business is to make money; I get that. But you can be firm and stern on your answer without being rude and making the customer feel insulted.
I believe I can recommend coming here to purchase items; they appear to have some solid items. When trying to sell items here, I recommend looking around and trying other places first. The same items I tried to sell here, I went to another location (directly after leaving from here) and they offered me hundreds for two of three items within a few minutes. So, it was just a learning experience for me. Customer service is very key when doing business. Treating them polite and with respect can not only win a new customer but open the doors for other customers. Word of mouth...
Read moreI took my bracelet in to get a loan. Usually if the professionalism is lacking and the store is not tidy I exit but, because of the reviews I decided to be open. Whomever was in the back was too busy to help the uneducated staff. The young lady said she'd have to do a scratch test to determine if the piece was authentic, which I've never experienced. Not only did she severely damage my property, she didn't know how to read the results. Told me my piece was gold plated. Knowing better I drove a mile away and received great service. Hopefully they will take better care of others property and train their staff on customer service and proper procedures. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Update: My spirit tells me the owner has a pre typed response and doesn't care, otherwise he'd have assisted the confused worker. But in response to your reply: 1.Organize your merchandise, if it's trash it should be outside, not on the floors. Train your staff to acknowledge customers when they enter and offer assistance. Train staff on procedures in a, each one teach one, manner therefore you're assured they retain the information. Update equipment. No-one wants to come in at obviously a trying time, surrender their property and have it scratched and stained during the process. Lead by example. Read moreSo I have recently bought a 17" MacBook pro from this pawnshop 3 days ago. It has battery life that only last 1 hour to hour and 20 mins if lucky. ( needs new Battery) The MacBook also has had in the past a Graphics card issue meaning that is can no longer work on the dedicated GPU chip anymore and had to use the onboard GPU chip of only 512 ram Known issue for this device no a regular apple user so i would not know this. Lastly on a scale of one to 10 would i trust them to sell me a sustainable product. I would have to give this pawnshop a 3. They marked the product to having a terabyte Hard drive when this only had 750 Gb hard drive. Also its states retina display this is a led display. Last note called the store spoke with manager she said that i got the device for the value device was $651 after tax . I have bought a device that That has a lot of things wrong with it that will will have to fix and overpaid for. She also said that they would not Give and kind of compensation for any of these issues. I would at least want something back for this. But this shop acts as if they don't care...
