Well my experience shopping at 168 market was very nice. I went there once on my bike and the security guard watched my bike for me they're very nice but didn't really have what I was looking for that day but I went yesterday with my husband 11/21/2023 that was his first time I laughed at him cause he was taller then everybody in there. I bought the rest of my thanksgiving food and let me tell you all the meat and seafood department is on point, clean fresh looking seafood great prices I can do for awhile I was a regular at Walmart but the food just got to high for my pockets. 168 is like a mini seafood city it's nice and they got a hot deli as soon as I taste that I'll leave another review. The best part is I only live across the street. Thank you for bringing a different flavor to the neighborhood we needed a little change. But I think they should have like food other than Asian food I only say that cause of the location somebody told me the reason why they only have their type of food is because they only want their people to shop there but I don't think That's true at all because they wouldn't have put their store right there. I haven't been back but I will in do...

168 market is a new store. It is operated by the same folks behind 99 Ranch market.

168 market is an Asian grocery store with focus on Chinese goods. It’s almost identical to 99 Ranch except it seems to be slightly smaller. the produce is laid out identically to 99 Ranch. I had no problem finding produce and grocery items.

The meat and fresh fish section was impressive. There was not even the slightest fishy smell.

Some of the specials were pretty spectacular, but there weren’t quite as many specials as the 99 Ranch would have.

There was pretty good depth as far as Chinese grocery items were concerned. However, it didn’t seem to be as comprehensive as 99 Ranch as far as other Asian specialties for instance, Korean or Japanese.

So I would say this 168 market does not replace a 99 Ranch but It’s a welcome addition in an area where there are very few Chinese groceries.

It is a new store. The staff were attentive and courteous, but it was pretty clear they’re...

Miss the variety Chinatown carry or Chinese 99 store this is your destination store to manage your Asian, Southeast Asian East Indian your ingredients are her. Just the soy sauce there are over 5 plus brands comparing to Big grocery stores telling you they have sale, not comparable to the price. If you want to try varieties of food that see on K Pop you could find here. There's bagged Asian vegetables, seafood counter; last month was Dragon boat festival and there was so many choices triangler rice wrapped dumplings, soon to come is the Moon cake season, keep visiting for the rotating merchandize. Also the cooked food section and bakery. Very light compared to heavy European goods and colorful Need to check for Specials, its understood price varies from that of Chinatown with transportation cost. Grocery wallet friendly { 4 grocery bag out of 5...

One stop shopping for Asian foods. The produce is some of the freshest I've seen in town. It's clean and bright. Staff is friendly and helpful as can be tho many do not speak english. This place reminds me of a baby Ranch99 without the strong odor. I bought a box of 4 pork buns next to the steam table, in a cooler, got to say not the best. Dough was dry. Could of had more filling. Maybe better if I had steamed them instead I used the mic. The suimai in the steam table was tasty. The bakery has some yummy items. I'll definitely be a regular shopper here.

I don’t know why it’s taken me such a long time to check out 168 which is one of the newest Asian markets in Vallejo. They have all of your hot pot and kbbq needs. Located at the old Gold’s Gym and there is plenty of parking, located at the same plaza as the neighborhood Wal mart. My family likes to come here to get combo meals because they are huge portions! From chow fun noodles, fried rice, chicken, eggplant, vegetables, dim sum to go, and sesame balls! All of our favorites, service is quick and all of the workers are nice and friendly!
