Beautiful and nice library. They have a story time for infants, toddler and pre-k. Wednesday 10:30am 1hour. My daughter doesn’t like reading book stories but she likes play the instrument. 😂 Parking lot is tight and so busy but you can park at other building’s(firstenburg) parking lots. So many kids books, magazines, DVDs, fiction and nonfiction, science, horror, suspense and comics you can rental book or DVDs whatever you want. Restroom is clean but a lots of homeless people use it. Kinda gross. And they use computers and electronics.( they didn’t sanitize and clean at all) So librarians are way to nice homeless than me sometimes 🤣 Anyways when you use computer please clean and wash your hands first. 100% homeless people used it all the time. They never leave before Library closed. But librarians are kind and nice that’s true.

Really nice, big, clean, and quiet library just off one of the main roads in Vancouver. Easy book returns inside or out. Easy to put books on hold and pick up. Each membership gets $3 of printing each month. Huge kid's selection with a storytime area. Plenty of computers, quiet sitting areas (even an outdoor area with a fountain), desks, study room to reserve, and chess. Clean restrooms. lots of DVDs, magazines, and you can pick up a free copy of the Vancouver Family magazine! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable and they often have a nice featured project or something up front.

Loved this location until today. I stopped by at the library at 5:50 pm. I totally understand that it's closing at 6 pm and all I needed to do was to print two pages for a meeting tomorrow. However what has happened is this: as soon as I walked up to the doors the gentlemen at the front turned off the lights, I asked him if it's still open and he says "yes we have 7 minutes left", so I said ok and proceeded and then when I came up to a computer it was already shut down. I mean I understand that everyone wants to go home on a Friday night and it's not like I do this often I just unfortunately also am working pretty late. I don't think it's appropriate to say that the library is open until 6 pm but not being able to use the services 10 minutes before...

There's a lot to love about this library! They were so nice to me and made it very easy for me to get a library card. I have troubles seeing and they have a huge audio book section, e-books (you can adjust the size of the text then), and a decent sized section of large print books, although the non-fiction section is quite small.

The children's section is an oval shaped area with loads of books and the teen area carries a variety of Manga.

The catalogue to find books is easy to use and you can hold books as well! They also have computers and are able to print items.

I had to go to the counter a couple of times to ask questions and the woman up there...
