I love this place and I love the food. I was torn between 4 and 5 stars because the food is great , but unfortunately , the employee that was working today was not very friendly. I had my toddler with me and the lady did not seem happy or in a very good mood today. I'm pregnant and very picky on what I eat. I purchased my usual and unfortunately, there was no tomatoes on it and no Mayonnaise and she put eggs on it. I did not ask for eggs. I repeated my order x3 actually because she kept asking. I do not like or eat eggs. I tried calling, but no one answered, probably causes there about to close in a couple minutes. I would have went back but I live almost 20 minutes away and by the time I would have got there it would have been closed. I just walked in the door to go eat my food and seen it wasn't what I ordere. :( When you are pregnant and craving something its really hard when you can't fulfill your craving. So unfortunately this is going to go in the garbage. I spent a good amount and it sucks that I can't get what I paid for. My mom won't eat it because she's a vegetarian. And my kids are picky as well.So unfortunately it's going to go to waste. I actually never see this lady before? So she is definitely new even when I went to go pay she struggled with the computer ( I was paying debbie and she was struggling with the buttons to push properly) That's when another lady came and helped her enter debit or something on there so I could pay. Every time I told the lady thank you. She did not say you're welcome.Did not smile and was not friendly and sadly. Whenever I have came in here with my mom or with my older 2 children. The ladies have always been so friendly and nice. I struggle marking at three stars but unfortunately the service has went down with the new employee. I will attempt to call tomorrow and let the manager know what happened today. Unfortunately, this is probably going to happen a couple times with having a new employee, most companies struggle with new employees getting the hang of a new company. The food is usually very good and a great place to stop. Thats why i drove almost 20 minutes plus I was craving this sandwich that I usually get. :( It might be a little bit spendy but in my eyes it's s worth it (usually). I hope the owner or manager finds out and helps this lady get a little bit more extra training so it doesn't happen to any other customers and they're company is not affected by the mistake of one employee. I was going to take a picture of the food but unfortunately we would not let me post the photo with my review. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I'm sorry. Buy I was not able to get ahold of anyone otherwise I wouldn't have...

I went from being a regular customer to being one that will not be returning.

We ordered Uber Eats yesterday, 3/5. Our order was wrong, which is not a huge deal. Mistakes happen. But then as my partner and I were eating our bagel sandwiches, we noticed they had what appeared to be old guacamole (likely from the prep counter not being properly cleaned) on our bagels, on the underside. It is obvious someone working did not do their due diligence to prevent cross contamination. It was also very clear that the bagels we received were old. They were very tough and difficult to eat.

It is now 3/6 and we have terrible food positioning! I am hoping we hear back from an owner here or I will be talking to the health department. It’s lucky no one in our home had an allergy to avocado, or this situation would have been even worse.

Note to owners: I’m glad you are all expanding. Make sure you don’t lose sight of how your operations are running. You lost several regular customers yesterday.

CROSS CONTAMINATION IS NOT A JOKE. People can get hurt or seriously sick. Just because you are a bagel shop and work with breads doesn’t mean you get to ignore all of the health regulations that are in place to keep your...

I stopped by Seize The Bagel in Cascade Park on a Wednesday morning for a simple yet satisfying breakfast—a plain bagel with cream cheese and a fresh-squeezed orange juice. The shop was well-maintained, and the atmosphere was inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful, living up to the welcoming vibe they promise on their website: “Offering delicious, fast, fresh food in a friendly environment!”

Despite it being a weekday morning, service was quick, and it seemed like a spot where regulars gather. My bagel was fresh and perfectly toasted, making for a great start to the day. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a refreshing complement to the meal.

Seize The Bagel prides itself on being a bagel bakery and café serving “circular goodness” to Vancouver and the surrounding areas, and they definitely deliver on that promise. If you’re looking for a friendly, local spot for a quick and tasty breakfast, this is a great choice. Plus, they mention that with enough notice, they can make anything happen—so whether you’re grabbing a bite or planning something bigger, they’re ready to help.

I’ll...

Coming from Chicago, bagels are a religious experience for me. I can confirm that these are hands down the best bagels in PNW. I come here weekly for religious taste bud experiences. Never have I been let down. The bagels are baked fresh daily and are soft and scrumptious, all the different cream cheese flavors are out of this world for both vegan and non vegan options. The sandwiches are all delicious; though I stay true to my lox and bagel on a toasted jalapeño cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese. I bring my family here when they come to town and we stock up on bagels and spreads for the week. Did I mention that often you’re able to get 2 dollar half dozen bags of day old bagels which freeze great!! Over all 10:10 I can’t speak highly enough about the delicious food, and staff that are some of the kindest folks I’ve ever met at a restaurant!
