Deja Vu Consignment Boutique — Attraction in Vancouver

I have found a nice top here once or twice. They have sales but the prices are not necessarily bargains. For example, they have a purple, plain top they have listed at $50, as well as Target level tops for $15. These are not what I typically expect for pricing on used items. They do have boutique racks and a clearance rack just outside the door. There are cameras everwhere, as well as warnings as you enter that you are on camera. They are inconsistant in what they will take as well. I tried bringing in brand new, never worn shoes and a couple of tops over the last two years to be refused for "condition". Yet I see tops on their racks that are covered in pills, plain worn looking and even one with a hole. There are a handful of dressing rooms with magnetized curtains for trying items on. They also carry jewelry and coats, as well as purses and tote sized bags in addition to clothing and shoes. I hope they stick around as we already lost the only other consignment shop in town for the time being but they...

Not bad but not best. Their prices are really high. Look, I buy only high end, Im talking high end clothes due to the durability and details and I get them for much less. They do have a huge selection of stuff. If you want to see something from behind the desk you might need to go tell someone cuz they don't see you over there and be waiting a long time like we did. Also a good way to get something stolen if to don't peek around the corner there often where we were waiting for assistance, just a thought for future reference. But really, the prices? Come on.. Inflation does not effect USED CLOTHING, to be priced that ridiculously high. Know your Brands and threads because I saw some knock offs for a quarter hundred. Whip your phone out if you are not sure before you splurge. But go check em out. Don't dead end them, you might find exactly what your looking for. Give yourself about an hour or more shopping here...

Unfortuantely this store is very nice but simply over prices their items too much for consignment. I just was asked to redo my wardrobe for work and decided to come here to find a deal but every item I picked up was over priced by a decent amount for used items. I believe I picked up a pair of worn out leather shoes priced at $57 and a simple black t-shirt style dress for $20. I called to express my concern (I stayed calm and even apologized if anything came out wrong) and maintained composure as the women on the phone (Madison I believe her name was) was defensive, passive aggressive and decided that due to my "attacking" told me that my conversation was not worth having. I do not intend on returning to this store anymore but I do hope they reevaluate their customer service skills and their pricing. I understand times are hard for everyone so compassion and understanding is an absolute must...
