From a supporter of small businesses. I introduce :" A family coffee shop"
Location: Across the street from New Seasons , next to Laughing Plant. In a small shopping center. Tucked in to the corner. Very safe area. No homeless activity.
The Interior- Exceptional ambiance. Very cozy with wooden brown decore mixed with modern designs. Soft jazzy music in the background. Perfect combination of coffee & atmosphere.
Service: Its a family business. If you want to go to a coffee shop where everyone knows your name. This is it. Always friendly. The owners (husband & wife) are always very welcoming and engaging.
Coffee: If you are a conaseur of coffee. Try the favorite Thai and Laos coffee favorites. The drip coffee is always on mark and very consistent. They have pastries too.
Prices: I would estimate approximately 15-20% less expensive then the competition for standard coffee items.
Food: I have not tried the food yet. I will leave this particular critique for those who have.
The Question: "Will I return" Yes I will and I have for quite some time as many of...
Read moreWonderful place. We stumbled upon this gem by reading Google reviews and noticing the positive feedback by guests. Service is friendly and helpful. When we arrived, we were the only ones there since it was in between lunch and dinner. My husband and I didn't know quite what we wanted so we took our time looking over the menu. The woman working was patient and cheerful. She brought us spring rolls which were fresh and delicious. I especially liked the addition of mint in the rolls as well as the yummy peanut dipping sauce. I ordered the pad Thai which was made to order and was steaming hot upon serving. My husband got one of the Laotian curries and was happy with this choice. I ordered a Thai iced tea as well and it was the best once I've ever had. The owner arrived while we were eating and made an effort to come talk to us, sharing his family tradition of making food to foster friendship, culture, and happiness. It was an excellent experience and we hope to return when we are back...
Read moreWatched eagerly as KCoffee construction took place. Upon opening, met the great people who were responsible for its opening. It's beautiful inside, with a modernistic approach to vintage timber design. The menu is quite unique and unlike anything in the area. From coffee, to sushi, to flavorful Lao and Thai inspired dishes. We had a bit of each. Starting with shrimp salad rolls, they were freshly rolled and came with a variety of sauces. A noodle soup was also ordered, koua tei, and the broth was hot and flavorful with perfectly cooked flat noodles. Lastly, we had sunset rolls, and although they were fresh and tasty, they are not the star of the show, but rather complemented an already stellar experience. We were also treated with a complimentary coconut jelly dessert...a nice surprise. We will be visiting quite often. Staff is so nice and the inviting atmosphere with soft music is...
