Office Depot — Attraction in Ventura

Mean, rude, stole money and treated a very kind human being horrible. Tried to contact them by online chat and they hung up on me 4 x while I was typing the issue!! So I guess I'll type it all over the internet since they don't seem to care. I am currently laid up with disabilities. A very nice woman, respectable local business owner and friend was helping me out. I had bought legal size hanging folders here and the sales lady said they would send my receipt to my email if I signed up for a rewards account. So I did. They never sent the receipt but it did show up in my rewards account. Meanwhile I discover I needed letter size, not legal. So this amazing human being offered to make the exchange for me since I am currently disabled. She took my email, my name of course, my member #, and my order number. First of all they treated her horrible. 2nd, they never sent the receipt and apparently their online account listing your transactions doesn't mean didilly squat. 3rd, they kept the over payment!! That's right, they embezzled the price difference. And 4th, they pretend to have 24 hour chat service thru your online account but do nothing but hang up on you. Soon as they ask what the problem is and you start typing, they hang up. Shame on you Office depot for all of it, but most of all for treating such an amazing human being like trash. And SKY, for hanging up on me after you already knew I had been hung up on 3 x and clearly you could see I was still there, karma. Remember me when it comes...

Slow as molasses in winter. Ordering an office chair was an odyssey I would not recommend, nor will I ever repeat. Try out what you want in store and then order it online. Trust me.

Here we are 2 days later and my rather expensive office chair get's delivered. Truck pulls up in front of the house, guy squeezes into the rear of the very full truck and I see the box pushed out the back and fall to the ground from about 6 feet. I can hear the boom inside the house but I'm sure the guy has no idea this is all on camera. He wheels it up to my door as I step outside when I notice it doesn't even look like my chair on the box. He says you can't go by the picture on the box and hauls it out of there. It's not the right chair. It's not even the right color!!! I take the time to take it back to the store and everyone is very nice about the problem. They have the chair in stock !?!?!?! so I take it...

I searched for the printer I wanted online and found the best deal at OD Ventura. The website stated that I would get 20% off of most items if I gave them my email address, so I did on the off chance it would apply to something substantial eventually. I was wrong, when I went in to buy the printer, the lady said it would only apply to the paper I bought and not the printer. I figured, OK, I took the chance. LOL. Got home set up printer, then checked email, they'd sent over 8 emails in just that time, all sales pitches, all useless., When I tried to unsubscribe online, their links didn't work, nor did their recommended fixes for the links. Tried to do it by chat, Alfie Shay came on, but when I sent this info to him, never heard back.
