There are many unique items in this museum from the local area and pioneer culture. This is a free admission museum. There is a small gift shop inside with a variety of items, and many of those are handcrafted. DUP gift shop items can also be purchased year-round at our booth inside the JP Saddle store next to the historic Zions bank on Main Street (Hwy 40) and Vernal Avenue. We also have a booth at the Farmers Market on Saturdays during the summer. When you purchase from our gift shop, you are helping us keep the museum operational. All purchases from our gift shop, booths, special events, and donations are used to keep the utilities on and the building and property in good repair. We also have some public events throughout the year. We celebrate Pioneer Day with the community on July 24th each year. We have several hands-on family fun pioneer activities during this celebration outside of the museum (185 S 500 W) right after the Vernal Pioneer Day parade.
