Ashley Valley Community Park — Attraction in Vernal

This park is basically in the heart of Vernal and is a great place to take the family. Events are often held here for kids, families, and the like. The playing areas for the kids are really nice and in good condition. The eating areas and restroom are easily accessible. There is nothing worse than going to a park and needing to take a dump only to see there is nowhere to do that. The community baseball fields are close to here as well and the walking paths are nice. Had a picnic in the large pavilion. There was plenty of room to be socially distanced. There are a lot of playground activities and equipment in the area. Horseshoe pits, baseball diamonds, climbing structures, places to exercise your kids and your pets. Great photo opportunities everywhere including the famous cupola from the Vernal Tabernacle lots of parking. The only downside is several pigeons have decided to roost in the pavilion, they like the free food and they leave digested food behind. Not 5 star due to pigeons. More...
