We got there at 3:30 to check in. They said they had been busy and they did not get a chance to clean our room yet and to give them 20 more minutes. Check in starts at 3.
We were in town for a event and had to be there at 4:30. So time was something we did not have alot of. So we ran a few quick errands down the road and come back and find a girl still cleaning the room. So we sat there for 5 minutes waiting for her to finish.
After she walked out and shut the door we finally got to go inside. What a disappointment. They claim the rooms were remodeled and this room looked ran down. Even the sign on the street they claimed remodeled rooms. The room looked dirty in general. We got the left over room that apparently did not get remodeled or cleaned.
Than we looked over at the table and find the cleaning girl left her cup of ice water on the table. Than we find dirty towels on the bathroom floor. After all this time and the room was still dirty. And the room had very poor lighting in it. Probably to hide all the ugly in it.
I went to the front office and had to call for someone to come down to the office. I tell them about the room and they asked if they could have 30 more minutes to clean the room. At this point I didn't evan want to waste any more of my time with this place and asked for a refund. They didn't argue with me and refunded my money.
We ended up staying at the holiday Inn express down the road. Over paid for the room there but was still well worth it over sage. Very clean rooms down there and comfortable beds to sleep in.
I don't see why everyone on Google leaves theses good reviews about how clean the rooms were. My two cents, spend your money elsewhere on a clean room.
Overall it was a very...
