I recently visited Funflatables with my kids, and while it has a lot of potential, I think a few improvements could make it even better for families with young children.
Starting with the positives, Funflatables is very affordable at just $12 for a whole day of play, which is fantastic! There are plenty of fun inflatable structures and toys that help kids burn off energy, and being an indoor space, it’s a great spot for winter days when outdoor play isn’t an option. My kids absolutely loved it!
However, I do feel there are some areas where Funflatables could improve, especially since it caters to young children. Cleanliness is a big one. I noticed a general lack of freshness, particularly in the bathrooms, where there was some visible urine on the floor and toilet when we visited (and we were the very first customers so they really should have been clean). Also, the toddler area had stuffed animals, which can’t be disinfected properly and seemed out of place in a public children’s play area. Removing any items that can’t be sanitized would help create a safer environment for little ones.
The atmosphere was also quite loud. Between the music and the necessary motors for the inflatables, the noise level was high, creating an overstimulating environment. Perhaps lowering the music a bit could help tone it down and make it more comfortable.
Staff-wise, while they weren’t unfriendly, I would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness and friendliness from them, given that it’s a place geared toward kids and families. A little extra warmth would go a long way in making the space feel welcoming.
Lastly, the opening hours could be more kid-friendly. Funflatables opens at 11 AM, which feels late for families with young kids who often need an earlier start to fit in playtime before lunch and nap schedules. Opening a bit earlier could make it more accessible to families like ours who are ready to go earlier in the day.
Overall, I see great potential in Funflatables, and I hope the owners might consider these suggestions to make it even better. We would love to visit more often with a few improvements, as it’s otherwise a great spot for...
Read moreSpent 2 hours there with spouse and kids for a birthday party. Positives are: 1. It was relatively clean as they had trash cans out for each birthday party. The parties were sectioned off by stand-up bar railings like an amusement park and plastic benched in each. 2. Bathrooms were unisex and had changing stations. 3. Soft carpeting and support columns had gym grade padding. 4. They allow you to bring in your own pizza... Easy to find on second floor above popular restaurant and one side of Macy's. Negatives were that staff weren't attentive to safety and looked checked out. 2. They have a toddler section, but older kids were constantly in it. It would be nice if a sign were up showing 1 to 3 only or something. 3. It would be nice to see an AED and 1st aid kit hanging together.
Kids had fun, but the best ages for this...
Read moreI don't do Google reviews but their impeccable service should definitely be recognized. I went to funflatables early this year and my kids loved the bouncy houses. I could already picture having his birthday party here. We celebrated our son's 5th birthday here. Ms Liza is such an awesome lady, she followed up with me from the time I booked the party and guided till the end. Her husband is such a gem of a person, we were literally astonished that they help you in everything, you can just sit down and have fun with you guests. It's a clean and hygienic place to host parties for kids. Thank you Ms Lisa, we definitely recommend this place just for you and husband's awesome service- you guys are so...
