Bath & Body Works — Local services in Vernon Hills

Not sure how many people actually take the time to read a review(s) for B&BW but I figured it was time to leave a review for the very first time starting with the Hawthorn location.

This is one of those stores that every mall has that look exactly the same, everything they carry is the same whether it's hand soap, body mist, body wash, candles, etc and always boasts the same superior customer service as any location.

There may be some guys out there that may view B&BW as a woman's toy store but it's very much unisex. Typically when I come here it's usually to stock up on hand soap or body wash for myself.

These stores are always kept spiffy clean/sanitized, always a great place for smells and always have good sales/deals going on. There's one particular body wash that is only sold seasonally which I love: SUEDE. Only downfall for body wash is that they only come in 10oz. bottles which run out quickly.

My most recent visit to a B&BW store was to stock up on body wash for myself. Can't wait to try Bourbon, Canyon and Marble. Going on my 2nd run with OCEAN which smells too good.

Went on black friday and they counted the employees as people for the store capacity so we waited outside for 30 minutes to get inside and when we did there were only a handful of customers and instead 10 employees standing around doing nothing. They had no idea which scent I was looking for and instead of trying to help the girl said the scent was discontinued which is a lie because I had just picked up the same scent a few days before at another location and the scent is new. The employees at this location just simply don't want to work which puts me off especially since I spent over 200 dollars. My boyfriend and I were not greeted upon entering the store. The two ladies working were both at the entrance and having a conversation that was clearly more important than customer service. Immediately after, two more women (who happened to be Caucasian) entered and were greeted and helped with a swiftness. We were not helped or asked if we needed assistance, then when checking out, cashier had a 10 minute conversation with the woman in front of us, making us wait for them to finish.
