Villa Originals — Attraction in Villa Park

I've been going to this salon for years and when I left for college I tried finding a salon closer to me in the city but nothing compares to Villa Originals! I was so disappointed when I found out Kristen is only there on Tuesdays now and I thought all hope was lost for my hair and it would never be the same. :'( I recently tried going to Callie for the third time and this time came out with my hair looking and feeling amazing! I showed her a picture of the layers I wanted in my hair and she knew exactly what to do. Waiting for a chance to come from the city to the suburbs is now again worth the commute for an amazing and reasonably priced haircut!...

I've been going here occasionally for a few years. It has a lot of good qualities: very reasonable prices, nice staff, and Melanie does a great job. Also, if you're looking for someone who has experience/can work with different hair types (black, biracial, anything but white people hair, etc.)

Only downsides are that the atmosphere is a little outdated, the wait time can sometimes be a little long (15-30 min), and it often smells a little like chemicals.

It's also geared toward older clientele, so keep that in mind.
