I wish I could say I loved this location as much as RPM in Stamford but that is just not the case. Long story short they cancelled a corporate event on me without any notice.
Background: I contacted Grand Prix Mt Kisco to book a bowling event for a few teams within my company. It was not easy to get in contact with the event planning department but once I did we got everything set and they sent over a contract. I told them I needed to talk to my manager and then subsequently I emailed them and told them we needed to make adjustments to the contract because what they sent over was not what we had discussed. I did not receive a response (ever) so I proceeded to call and never received a call back (they said they would leave my number on the desk of the events coordinator). I then emailed again and then called and finally spoke to someone on 11/26. I spoke to Victoria who told me my event had been cancelled (I never received notice) because I had not returned the contract and I explained it was because the contract was incorrect and that I needed an updated one with the correct details. She then sent me an updated contract and I signed right away and submitted (within the hour). She assured me we would be all set.
I was then contacted by the "manager" (I wish I could remember his name) and he told me our contract was cancelled and she should have never rebooked me because they had someone else book the entire room instead and they had no space for me.
Even though my event was first and the issue was on Grand Prix, the manager seemed entirely unapologetic, told me they "never received my emails" of which I have proof of sending. The man continued to gaslight my the entire time and blame me for not signing an INCORRECT contract and then told me "I'm sorry you feel that way" when I said this was not how business is conducted.
Needless to say I will NEVER book an event with this establishment and that manager needs to take a few lessons in how to handle customer service situations. This was for a corporate event and was extremely...
Read moreOn Feb 5, 2022 I have celebrated my son birthday and didn’t get the service I expected. The host for the party was horrible. She didn’t even introduce herself to me that she was the hostess. She bought out the food and drinks and set the table. She was holding on the Arcade cards for the kids. Then later on when the kids finish eating she gave me the Arcade card. She didn’t mention anything to me that the kids have credit for the Arcade and the VR token. I just told the kids to enjoy the Arcade card. After the party ended I have when to the party planner and ask her if I was done and she said yes and that she would charge the rest on my balance to my credit card that she had on file. At the point I would think the party planner would ask me if I have received everything and everything when well. I completely understand it was very busy but I don’t think it would hurt to go over everything before I have left. After I got home that night I had a feeling something was missing from the party package. I wasn’t sure what it was. I have check my contract and sure enough the VR token was missing. I have email my party planner regarding the VR Token and she stated that it was in with the Arcade card and that the kids can use it anytime they come back and apologize for what had happen. I have email her back and told her how the kids suppose to use VR credit when they don’t have the cards anymore. After they have play at the arcade and got the credit and got there prize they threw it out. I have ask to talk to someone higher up and I have received a phone call back and I have missed it. I have call back several time and haven’t got through. I couldn’t leave a message because the voice message was full. I would never come back and will let people know my experience. The General Manager never got back to...
Read moreMy 13 year old daughter went to the Mt. Kisco K1 location yesterday and after 4 go kart races, she suffered severe bruising—3 bruises that swelled into bumps on her lower spine, 2 bruises on her shoulder blades and 2 bruises on her hips. She said when she was in the go kart she could feel the back of the seat pressing into her back as she drove but didn't realize how hard it was knocking into her. She's 5' 6'' and raced on the adult track. She mentioned she was in pain when it was time to leave but I didn't check her back until we got home and discovered all the bruises. I called the Mt. Kisco location to speak to a manager and got voicemail. I called corporate and got voicemail. I called again today and someone took my name but said he wasn't at the Mt. Kisco location and I needed to call that location which I did again and left another voicemail. It's going on 24 hours and have yet to discuss the situation with anyone. The bruising is quite excessive for what appeared to be a kid-friendly environment. I want to speak to someone to see how these karts are designed as she can't be the only person to suffer this kind of bruising. Has anyone else experienced issues like this at the K1 raceways before? I'm taking this to Google as I'm pretty pissed at this company right now as they should have responded immediately. I realize we sign waivers so the company is not liable and while I'm not trying to sue them, I want my complaint heard so they can look into the designs of their go karts and make...
