Rural King — Attraction in Vincennes

Having to destroy time in Vincennes, I wandered into Rural King... they didn't have what I wanted, but gave me Everything I Needed. The Staff was very Helpful in assisting me in my Expedition and even though I could not find the Particular Shirts I wanted... I still left the Rural King more than Content.

While I was there and little coinkydink occurred and a rendition of "The Little Drummer Boy" could be heard throughout the Store. In that Moment I ended up trying to Ship Seawater in my Boots and I had both Pumps working.

To hear that Song in a Commercial Establishment is Testimony of both the Management and the Focus of their Work... and it's so very rare to encounter Moments like I did anywhere in this Fast-Paced World where it seems as though we are moulded not by Faith as much as Algorithms.

Even upon my departure, a Tradition was being Upheld...Free Hot FRESH Popcorn...a very small but Meaningful Blessing offered to their Customers one and All.

... and I could sense that the Lord was Smiling down at Rural King while they "Played their Drum".

This place is disappointing. I used to like coming in here but it had gone down hill. No body seems to know what they are doing. Well actually I take that back. There were a couple of younger employees who actually did try to help, but most employees here just don't. It's sad because the employees used to know whatever you asked them. I don't like how all the summer furniture is just all in boxes in one area. You can't even hardly tell what they look like or what size they are. Very disappointing. I actually tried to buy one of the swings even tho I couldn't try it out first, but I had to go hunt someone down to ask for help and I waited and waited and waited. NO ONE showed up so we just decided to go to the register and ask. Well the kid, and yes he was like 16 or 17, just looked at us when we told him and said he'd see about it, and went ahead and checked out our other things we bought. He never did try and get any one to help us get the swing! Like I said, very disappointing. Not sure if they got a new manager at this store or what, but things need to change back to the way it was! I will stick with TSC and...

Went an hour before closing and the customer service was terrible. Not a single worker acknowledged me, I had to directly address someone to get some help despite me wandering around in their vicinity asking myself where things were, definitely loudly enough to be heard.

When I finally got someone's attention I asked where the supplies were and the girl simply pointed and raised her eyebrows at me as if to say "are you stupid?" and the male worker that was standing there walked off as soon as I asked for help. The cashiers were grimacing and glaring at me the whole time.

The cashier that rang me up also didn't acknowledge me. She was on the phone with an acquaintence of some sort ignoring me for the whole transaction. Not to mention the things that I bought for my rabbit were smaller and more expensive than the exact same things from Walmart. We will not be going back to this...
