Vincennes Escape Adventures — Attraction in Vincennes

I had done 2 previous escape rooms (Through the escape corporation) and I have to say - They need to step up their game!!! Rod has done not just a fabulous, but an absolutely phenomenal job with Escape Adventures. Me, my wife and another couple completes the Egypt escape room and had a BLAST!!!! The clues given by the operator weren't too much but enough to make you think what you already knew. They give you 1 hour and 15 mins for this room and you need almost every second of it. I WILL MOST CERTAINLY be back, he has 1 more if not 2 more games in planning stage and has 3 open now. He has gained my business for good!!!! I also loved how he made SURE you had fun while completing the puzzles and made everything sensible and personal, it's not just a dollar for him-its something he lives to do!!!!

I’ve done 7-8 escape rooms, and this one might just be the best one yet! We did the Egypt one, which is a “gen 2” escape room. We didn’t know what that meant, but they explained that it means that unlike traditional escape rooms that are mostly codes and locks, there are more interactive elements. We couldn’t believe how well-done the room was.

We had only three people, and the room requires four people for one specific puzzle, but they were very helpful and friendly and able to accommodate us.

The place is run by a family, including a bakery inside the building that’s run by the owners’ daughter (featuring wonderful cookies and cheesecake).

Editing this review because of my recent trip up to Vincennes for my 26th escape room. My group completed the new Egypt room and, without trying to spoil anything, all I can say is that it is by FAR our favorite room that we have done so far. Not to mention, Rod and his family are some of the most friendly and welcoming people that also have done a lot of research on escape rooms. I seriously recommend their escape rooms for people who are experienced because they love to talk about different parts of different escape rooms and have a true passion for what they do; it's truly amazing.
