Very good food. It is a buffet, but they had a good selection of foods. The salad bar was well stocked with classic salad toppings, and dressings, and some common items that people love to eat. They have homemade bread which they offer, near the salad bar area, and it is delicious, soft bread- white and wheat. They have butter and apple butter as available spreads for the bread.

For main dishes they had pulled pork- with or without bbq sauce, friend chicken, and a few other meat options. For sides they had green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato disks, steamed vegetables, corn, stuffing, white and brown gravy, baked beans, stewed apples, and several others. They also little homemade cornbread muffins.

They do have some deserts available at the buffet but have pie and cake available as well, which you have to request from your waitress (or waiter). The chocolate cake was delicious, it did have chopped walnuts on top, but it was extremely moist and had a rich chocolate flavor. The waitress we had was very friendly and attentive- our glass never went empty. She always made sure to fill it up if she saw it was below half full. The lunch buffet was very reasonable- especially since it's an all you can eat, though we've heard that the dinner buffet is a bit on the expensive side (can't confirm this since I've never been during dinner).

First time trying this restaurant. First impressions staff was extremely friendly, location was well kept and very clean especially given how busy they were when we got there. The buffet price is very reasonable for both kids and adults and in my opinion is rare these days to even find a BBQ place that has a buffet. The taste of the food is definitely high especially given it's cooked for large amounts of people at one time. The temp of the food was also fresh and the seasoning on the meats (chicken, brisket and ribs) as well as the non meats is top notch. I was worried the fried chicken was going to be dry and tasteless when I first got it but was pleasantly surprised to find it was more of the appearance and the food was very fresh and seasoned like they were worshiping an ancient god with it or something. To top it all off the pies and cakes were amazing I got the coconut cream pie and my son got the chocolate cake and both were more than you could ask for both in size and taste. I've eaten here since the first day they opened my family was apart of the birthday club where the first so many to eat there were on the list, In the last 5-7 years they have been adding some type of MSG to the buffet. Everytime I eat here I legit eat exactly the same amount of food as I do everywhere else a small salad plate and a main plate no dessert. I get this pain in the middle of my chest the last 10+ times I've eaten here thinking oh its just a fluke but today it happened again pain in the chest absolutely sick full feeling like overstuffed, I feel 100% they add a filler to the sides this is the only place I've ever eaten in my life I get sick with diarrhea everytime I go those the foods great but if your like me just know they add msg to side dishes and possibly some main courses especially the potatoes.
