It use to be really good. But it’s gone down hill. I’ve noticed if you go at lunch, the food is pretty bad. Actually, pretty sure my dogs eat better than the lunch food. I wouldn’t give them no stars even if it was a thing because most of the staff is pretty friendly, but it’s definitely sub-par. The last couple of times we went at lunch, including today, we got cold food, burnt chips, and watery cheese dip. The waiter never checked on us. We started going to Princeton to Guacamole Grill and you have no idea what you’re missing of you haven’t been there. I thought I’d give La Fiesta another go since it’s a hometown thing, but I instantly regretted it. My children were bummed. It was just another bad experience. Won’t be back- I’ll keep going to Princeton for Mexican food that is actually good. I feel like the only reason people in this town even like la fiesta is because they haven’t ever tried better and we don’t have anything better here but my friends, this isn’t good Mexican food.
The last time I came at lunch, my order was supposed to be chicken, and my friends’ beef. We pointed out the mistake. Mine was chicken tacos, topped in cheese and tomatoes. They took it to the kitchen and literally just scooped everything onto the other plates. Which is pretty gross and not sanitary. Her steak on the beach had lettuce, tomatoes, and avocado on it. They didn’t even care when I...
Read moreThis is the second time my family and I have eaten here and they have by far surpassed by expectations. The staff were clean and well dressed, neat appearance. I was very pleased since we moved here 3 weeks ago from Mississippi and most of the food staff at other restaurants we’ve been to in Vincennes look unkept or have a “sloppy, dirty or rehabilitated drug appearance”. The food was prepared fresh and came out hot. It was well seasoned and tasted very good. My husband normally doesn’t care for Mexican food but he gave this place an A+ rating and was happy to come back for a second time. He cleaned his plate. The waiters are very attentive and actually “listen” when placing our order as we have a son with vegetable and cheese allergies and have to often customize his meals to remove certain things. They got it right the first and second time!! They even check on us after bringing the order to make sure everything is okay and see if we need anything while eating. Something that was lacking at other restaurants we went to. I just want to commend the staff, the waiters and the owners for a job well done!!! I am happy to eat here and recommend them to anyone. Thank you for going the extra mile to make sure we had a great...
Read moreI placed a carryout order and they were really rude and in a rush on the phone, so I didn't even get to finish my order before they said "ready in 10 minutes" and then hung up. When I got there, the person at register didn't know any of the prices when i wanted to add something small to the order and stood there for a bit before someone else came over and put it in. They forgot part of my order and when I went back they all started talking to me at once and was saying the order was correct even though the receipt said I paid $24 and the only thing I had was a quesadilla and I know they don't cost that much. So I went to place another order for a chimichanga (which is what they forgot) and got charged $20 for it when it's $10 at most usually. When they came out with it, they practically rushed me out the door, handing me the food and saying "bye, bye, bye." I'm never going there again even though it used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. I plan on checking out Senior Tequila since they're under a different management now and are hopefully not as rude and ridiculous as they are here. I've never been treated as rudely there as I have tonight and am so...
