We had our wedding reception here 10/19/24. Originally we were under the impression that the venue had experience hosting a wedding with 120 people, but found out the day of that this was not the case. When we arrived the dj/coordinator/owner did not have our entrance songs ready and we waited outside for 10-15 minutes before having a friend go tell her that we were ready to enter. Prior to the wedding day we had written out a program for the coordinator to follow, but it was not followed. The groom went up and told her that we were ready to do our first dance and was told to wait. We ended up waiting about an hour before the first dance happened. One of my bridesmaids had to keep going up to her to see what was going to happen next and tell her when to start things. As a result we did not get to do our father daughter dance/ mother and son dance, which we were pretty bummed about. We had to remind her that we needed to cut the cake because our guest started to leave. The servers did a pretty good job and were very nice, but we ran out of salad and the bridal party/ family of the bride and groom were served last. We also ended up having a very long line at the bar, because one of the bartenders was a no show. We did enjoy the decorations. I donât believe the owner was properly prepared to hold an event this size. Overall I think there needs to be more than one person running things in order to make things...
Read moreIn reading other reviews of Love Official ATL you get the impression that this venue is experienced and well organized. This is not what I experienced at my son and daughter-in-lawâs wedding reception on October 19, 2024. As the mother of the groom, I was not involved with planning the reception but I know how organized my daughter-in-law is. Disappointment is an understatement in what I felt during the reception. Many people were waiting in line for drinks for longer than they should have, the bridal party and family were served last (or not at all like myself) and many things on the schedule the bride gave were not done (daughter/father and son/mother dance). That, in my opinion, is inexcusable! Something a bride looks forward to on her wedding day was completely ignored. I also thought that the music was a little too loud while we were eating. You couldnât have a conversation with someone sitting next to you. I had such high expectations after reading reviews and was so disappointed. Regardless, the newlyweds are happy and thatâs all that...
Read moreThis venue was everything. It included affordable options to include decor which is hard to find. The owner, Danyell was also very instrumental in recommending other businesses to work with for balloons, chairs, etc. The time allotted was adequate, the cleanup package was necessary for me and was offered, and the entry and exit process were seamless. I'd highly recommend giving Danyell a call for your event today. I was set up for 80 ppl for a baby shower and there was enough space for those seats, the telephone both, catering station, alcohol station, his and her chairs, sweets table, and a few photo op places! Danyell was very responsive and also stayed around before the event started to ensure we had everything we needed to...
