Salem Village Park — Attraction in Virginia Beach

This park ain’t safe no more kids or big kid’s breaking the pence woods everywhere, no curfew , no enough lights or no lights in the park. Peoples hanging up even night time in the dark you don’t know what the doing. No cameras. the city of Virginia beach doesn’t even fix the broken pence. You don’t know got more illegal activities happen here during night time. Virginia beach city needs to out lights in the park, put some curfew or time to be allowed in the park this is a huge park that’s why every time cops looking for someone you can see those person just run in the park cause is so dark during night time. I love that it's being mowed, as we love to play catch with the kids back there behind the playground. That said, though it's nothing new to any park, I really hate that kids leave so much trash behind on and around the playground. There are trash recepticals, so it's just laziness. We saw a couple of young boys there, with trash everywhere from there obvious recent trip to 711. I kindly asked if they could just clean up before they left and they said "sure" and looked a little perturbed...but they did! Lol So,...

Be cautious walking your dogs here! We were just walking our dogs at the park when a pit bull got out of a neighbors yard and attacker my dog! The owner came out a few minutes later and grabbed her dog but didn’t even apologize to us... rude! My dog is fine because he’s a furry big fluffy ball so the dog couldn’t get through the fluff to break skin (as far as we can tell) but he limping.
