Iron Trail Motors Event Center — Attraction in Virginia

Terrible service, rented the lions club building for a couple hours and they charge to much for only a couple hours use and when we got there there was another family there at the time we rented it out at. They told us they weren't leaving till there done making there food and I called and nobody did anything about it. The place stunk and there was hoards of Flys everywhere the floor had garbage on it and the freezers didn't work or anything so my son's ice cream Cake melted everywhere and I called again and they did absolutely nothing I would not recommend this place at all because they do not care about any...

Facility itself is nice but getting inside is a huge problem. Parking anyplace means a long walk to the building which in the winter means walking on poorly cleared blacktop and sidewalks. Probably a lawsuit waiting to happen from people (especially older people) falling. Even the sidewalk by the handicap parking was not cleared. There are no signs to let you know which door to enter so your walk might end up even longer than you had planned. Also little signage inside to direct you. The owner is very kind and allows the community to do laps for exercise around his hockey arena. I really appreciate this on rainy days, and throughout the winter when it's too cold to get as much exercise outdoors as I would like. It is cool (around 50 I'd guess), so bring a sweater.

Meanwhile, I was able to go to a wedding reception on the premises a few months ago and I can vouch for the excellent facilities in that way too. I think we had about 200 and were very comfortable. The event center is an excellent asset to...
