ALDI — Local services in Virginia

I grew up near ALDIs, and was incredibly excited when I heard one would be opening here. They're still pretty new, and maybe this is why, but the store is in great condition and upkept very well. Most I've been to didn't look so pretty inside, but this one looks great. Not that it matters, I'd shop here regardless. The deals, especially on produce and eggs, are the best you can get around here. I live in Ely and things can be pretty pricey.

Awesome selection of meats, cheeses and breads at fantastic prices. The meat definitely isn't wimpy. A very decent produce section ~ would like to see ginger root somewhere, either fresh, sprinkle or squeezable. Fun choices in the freezer section! :) You can't always get some basics like good cat food (dry food that cats will actually eat, hahaha!), decent kitty litter, better spice selection, Asian/ethnic "schtuff" ~ but they have the basics. I’m disappointed the produce is always hit or miss and lately it been more miss. I bought tomatoes there yesterday the grape king in the plastic container. I know I checked them good today I peeled off the plastic and they are full of mold. I don’t think I will go back.
