They have a decent selection of canine, feline, equine, and farm animal supplies. However - and I cannot stress this enough - BEWARE BIG BERTHA. Tractor Supply has 2 spots in front of their doors that are clearly marked parking spots - they used to be handicap spots, but are not anymore. I have parked there several times on my way in to the store, but on this fateful day, my path to Tractor Supply for puppy food crossed that of Big Bertha.
There she sat in her unsightly yellow Kia Soul, face ablaze in red. As soon as my gaze fell upon her, I knew my day of reckoning had arrived. Cautiously, I exited my vehicle, at which time Big Bertha yelled at me, "YOunG lADy, thAT iS NOT a pArKInG SPoT!". Not one to take feces from other people, I informed Big Bertha that yes, indeed, the spot I was in and the one behind me were legal parking spots, as anyone with two brain cells to rub together can see. Unfortunately, Big Bertha lacks that ability, and chose poor little old me to take her ungodly rage out on. She continued her tirade of vitriol, spewing passive-aggressive insults, until she saw I would not budge. Not today, Satan. Not today. It was then that Big Bertha threatened to call the po-po. The look that crossed my face must have triggered Big Bertha as she raised her cellular device in defense of her threat. Knowing she was too decrepit to understand how to use such device, I laughed in Big Bertha's face. Did Big Bertha honestly want to drag police to Tractor Supply in complaint of someone parked legally? Yes, yes she did.
Upon entering Tractor Supply, I asked the kind cashier (who saw me flipping the bird the entire way in) whether the spot I was parked in along with the one behind me were, in fact, parking spots. The cashier reiterated that they used to be handicap, but the parking lines are still painted there, so people - not even handicapped - park there anyway.
I am here to tell my tale of surviving Big Bertha's wrath in hopes the next poor soul stands firm against her, too.
4/5 for Tractor Supply until they get rid of Big Bertha, Parking Enforcer...
Read moreI went there to check out the Pet Wash. I had brought my new puppy with. Nice to be able to bring pets there. But I was disappointed. It had been closed with no notice as to when it would reopen. I'm sure it was due to COVID-19. I wanted check out how large & how deep the tubs were. My puppy is an English Mastiff. So she will become quite large. Hard to do at home. And I also have a Labrador/Husky who is also very tall. She also does NOT like water. Who'd think that! Being half Lab. Anyways, someone else had suggested using the pet wash for my Husk-a-dor with all her shedding right now. So, to say the least it's back to the bathtub or outside again. One more thing. I did look at collars, dog toys & treats. Prices were average. And they did give puppy a treat...
Read moreI have nothing but good things to say about this TSC location. I wanted these specific women’s work pants and I think I called 5 stores and they couldn’t give me an answer on why they aren’t in stock and why they can’t ship them. When I called the Virginia location, Dennis, the store manager looked into ordering them for me and had them shipped to his store location and was even willing to hold them for me until I could make it up there! The workers were so kind and personable I felt very welcomed and cared for here. I am so so happy I was able to find these pants and that this store went the extra mile for me. I would recommend this location to anyone! I am...
